Publisher's Summary

A 2022 new edition of one of the most popular occult work of the past century.

The Kybalion is a 1908 document summarizing the teachings of Hermeticism, also known as the seven principles of Hermeticism. Its authorship is attributed to an anonymous group of people calling themselves the Three Initiates. This new edition includes unique annotations and commentary by foreword author Noah Marks, an accomplished expert on Hermeticism and scholar of the life of Hermes Trismegistus. It also includes a commentary on the historical context of the manuscript and the importance that The Kybalion has had on current philosophical thought. Hermeticism refers to the philosophical system that relies on the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. These teachings are composed of a hybrid mixture of beliefs and teachings relating to Hermes, a Greek god, and Thoth, an Egyptian god. Although Egypt had a lot of occult origins and masters, one of the great masters was Hermes Trismegistus. Hermes was considered the father of occult wisdom because he possessed unparalleled knowledge of astrology. He was regarded as a contemporary of Christian Abraham. After living for almost 300 years, he passed from the physical world, and Egyptians deified him as the god of wisdom.

Including:

  • The Hermetic Philosophy
  • The Seven Hermetic Principles
  • Mental Transmutation
  • The All
  • The Mental Universe
  • The Divine Paradox

And much more

Terrific

This audiobook gave me very profound information about the occult and taught me that the Doctrine of Hermes Trismegistus is a Secret Doctrine that all nations have borrowed. India, Persia, Chaldea, Medea, China, Japan, Assyria, ancient Greece and Rome, and other ancient countries generously participated in the feast of knowledge.
