Critic Reviews

"Green brings into sharp focus the way that, historically, women have had to bear the weight of other people's perceptions and actions in this poignant read." (Woman's Weekly)

"The story was authentic, absorbing, and unputdownable...although I raced through the pages I didn't want the story to finish." (Louise Jensen, author of The Surrogate)

"Emotionally moving. A thought-provoking page-turner with a poignant three-generational link." (Jane Corry, author of The Dead Ex, The Sunday Times best seller)

Redundant

struggled to finish. when the author repeats context clues in several scenarios, they are no longer clues and clear predictors of what's to come. I found it redundant. and I also felt anxious at the narration.

GREAT BOOK GREAT NARRATIVE!

This book was recommended to me by my step daughter. The twists, turns, sadness, joy had me laughing and crying all at the same time. I really enjoyed it and the narrator kept it easy to keep up with!

Hard to put down.

Well written and well read. It's sad to think of how many girls went through similar circumstances.
