And she’s not about to let Ava take the job she rightly deserves. Both women share a secret that could destroy them, but who will crumble first?

Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

“An unnerving page-turning story of secrets and rivalry with an undercurrent of menace throughout, leading to a nail biting conclusion.” (Sue Fortin)

Interesting thriller

I'm a fan of thrillers, and even though some of the outcomes in this one were somewhat easy to predict, I still enjoyed the ride. The characters were interesting enough for me to feel involved in their stories, and there were a few twists that were surprising. Mostly what I look for in thrillers is sheer entertainment value, something that will hold my attention, and allow me to pick back up easily where I left off. This book kept me company and kept me entertained during a long day of working at home. The characters were also well narrated. Much enjoyed!

Really horrible with background sound

What were they thinking. It is terrible. Is this meant to be artistic? Never again.

Terrible

Terrible the background music is so off putting. The story slow and dull as are the characters there is a death at the start and I got as far as chapter 22 and absolutely nothing more had happened. Dull as dish water. I very rarely give up part way through a book but life is short and the time I spent on the first 22 chapters is time I wont get back. I would rather watch paint dry.
