Publisher's Summary

Want to know a secret?

It's about that girl over there. Don’t look, but she’s the one in the power suit with the long, black hair and the serious expression. The one I’m about to go on a date with.

Yeah, according to her, she “accidentally” donated an obscene amount of money to my charity - The Lineup - to win said date, but I found out the truth.

Miss. Button-Up-Blouse has a secret. A passionate crush on me. I didn’t know her name until two days ago, despite the friends we have in common. Was I oblivious? Probably. Was I blind to it? Definitely.

But I’m no fool. I see it now. The high-heeled harlot wants more than just a date with Jason Orson. She wants to be able to claim the best butt in baseball as hers.

Here's another secret: She has no idea I know.

One of the funniest romantic comedies ever!

I loved this listen so much! The banter between Jason and Dottie is to die for! Jason had me cracking up so hard, I couldn't contain it. I love a funny guy and he was EVERYTHING! The total package this one, with his heart of gold, great sense of humor, and so freaking HOT! And Dottie is this seriously strong, independent heroine with a big heart. Stephen Dexter did a fantastic job as Jason, his voice is perfect for this character. And Maxine Mitchell gives that perfect, strong, and confident voice to Dottie that encompasses her character completely. You'll be laughing and swooning all the way through with this listen! Completely worth the one click!

Jason is one of the funniest heroes, ever.

Every time I think Meghan Quinn has written my favorite hero, her next book comes out and I have to move them around on my list!

This is the third book in a series of standalones, but is set after the baseball boys are in college and are established major league players. But Dottie always had a crush on Jason back in school, and he barely remembers her at all. As an exec in her dad's real estate development company, Dottie has a high-stress job. And the fact that her last personal relationship caused some professional problems has her unable to trust Jason at first. And he is pursuing her hard. But she's totally holding her ex's actions against him. But when she needs a boyfriend for a potential deal, Dottie claims that she's been dating Jason for years, and then agrees to go out with him.

But when Jason finds out that it was all fake, is there any chance of Dottie convincing him that it was actually very real? I loved that in this book, it is the guy who got hurt as it's typically the other way around. And Jason does not make it easy for Dottie when she tries to apologize. I was crying into my pillow just as Jason was crying on Knox's shoulder! Just like Dottie was used for her power and position in a previous relationship, Jason was hurt by an ex who was only with him for his fame. But whereas he was all in when it came to their relationship, Dottie was definitely holding back.

There is something so special about Jason! The snarky comments between and digs between he and Dottie are awesome. But then there are all the sweet and tender moments -- and that is one sensitive dude! I love how Jason owns it and makes no apologies for having big feelings.

PERFORMANCE: I read this book when it first came out, so I was interested to see what the narrators brought to the table. Because I love Jason and Dottie. And I thought that Jason would be a hard character to voice since he has so many layers to his personality. But Stephen Dexter totally brought his A-game to this recording. He perfected all the little nuances of Jason, and the character's emotional highs and lows. Likewise, Maxine did a fantastic job with playing Dottie as a tough-as-nails businesswoman with that hidden soft side beneath.

This group of friends is so much fun. I loved catching up with Knox and Emory and Carson and Milly. I can't wait for Walker and Cory to get their own stories, and I hope it's with Lindsay and Natalie!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Loved Jason and Dottie!

This was such a fun, flirty, romantic read. Jason is such a romantic at heart, and an alpha behind closed doors. Everything from his aprons to cooking to cleaning to how he wants to just care for everyone around him made him such a great character, and Stephen Dexter really brought him to life in such a fun and amazing way. Dottie, voiced by Maxine Mitchell, has some issues to resolve before she can really open herself up to love, and I'm so glad that she found Jason to help her do that.

Megan Quinn gives us yet another great sports romance and leaves you totally satisfied, and the narration of team of Maxine Mitchell and Stephen Dexter knocked it out of the park.

Get you a Jason.

No, seriously, we all deserve one.

Quinn knocks it out of the park with this one, a twist on the alpha and a swooning girl.

Dottie Domico is fierce. She’s running a business, takes no crap, and has no time to be sweet.
Jason Orson is every sweet thing baked together for a good period of time. He’s kind, and loving, and more in touch with his emotions than his friends would prefer.

This is a laugh out loud comedy, absolute gold, yet again, from Quinn.

I giggled at his antics, and her reaction, I swooned over his words & behaviors, and I sobbed when things weren’t going right.
But it all pulled together for me, I got my life together, and I got to enjoy Jason ambushing his closest friends with kisses on the mouth, much to their dismay.

Recommendation: Absolutely. And seriously, find you a Jason.

Great story , but

I didn’t like what the father did , but he doesn’t really support her when she has to do everything and anything to get the account now he excepts her resignation, which I thought was really unfair

Slow burn but worth it!

LOVE Stephen Dexter and his narration is perfect here. Comical when delivering Jason’s narration but heartfelt when he needs to be. This is definitely a slow burn but the story keeps you interested all the way through

Cute Fun Sexy and Funny

Dottie has always been attracted to Jason Orson. In high school, he was a young up and coming Baseball player now years later he has made it in the pros. Still as attractive as he was in high school and about to take part in a charity auction Dottie's friends feel she should take the opportunity to place her bid for a date with Jason. But Dottie's past relationships have made her cautious of men. How do Dottie's friends convince her to give Jason a go even with her history?

Except, hero gets a tip off before the date that heroine has had a crush on him for some time.

Jason and Dottie!

Dottie’s lack of success in her personal life has made her strong, independent and determined to focus on her career as it has never caused her pain. When they were students she was attracted to Jason, one of the baseball players, but he never noticed her however that is about to change when her donation to his charity scores her a date with sexy catcher.

Jason is the sweet and sexy catcher who is a good teammate, a great friend and always willing to help anyone with anything. What started out as a way to help his charity turns into so much more when he meets Dottie. Let the games begin!

Witty banter, hot chemistry and all the feels as both of these characters touch your heart. There is so much more to Dottie than first appears while Jason is the perfect mix of sweet and sexy that you just can’t get enough of and the two of them together was magical to watch. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought that both narrators did a great job of bringing out all the humor and emotion story.

This book is hilarious!
I’m still laughing!
Jason is something else. OMG I loved him so much and his humor is so over the top. The things he says. You’ll have tears in your eyes. I did. Also be prepared because this book made me super hungry.
There is bust your gut, laughing out loud moments as well as lots of streamy, sexy scenes. Over all I loved it.
Narrators were both amazing. Loved both of their work with the voices. ❤️

Move over Knox and Carson... Jason's here!

I love this series. Knox, Carter, Jason... these guys are completely unbelievable! Jason is one of Quinn's swooniest, sweetiest characters. All the heart eyes at this man! Just like all Quinn's books she brought her signature humor and this wistful happiness that had me smiling the entire story! Dottie and Jason have such a magnetic pull and they just could not resist each other. But Jason stole the show for me. He was just full of himself and I could not read it quickly enough... I could not get to know him fast enough. Did I say I was smitten? I was! I was so in it! Perhaps more than Dottie, move over chicca!!

Stephen Dexter was seriously just the best as Jason! He's strong in characters and completely charismatic! Dexter really pulls off that fun but cocky type of personality. I can't get enough of these guys!! Maxine Mitchell has this lovely voice and it plays well with Stephen Dexter. She brings a lightness to his voice that the sound really needed. Again, I'm not sure I could even not love and fawn over anything with Meghan Quinn on the covers. She's my total fave!!!

Jason Orsen for president

Holy mother of all god... this book had me in stitches. I made the mistake of listening to it while putting my little human to bed, only to promptly wake her with my spontaneous bout of laughter.
Stephen and Maxine did a fabulous job of the audio. It’s safe to say that Meghan’s audio has gone straight to the top of my LOVE IT list.
