A roaring western!

"The Lost Ones: The Bounty Hunter, Book 2" (2018, 2019) by G. Michael Hopf is a roaring western featuring the exploits of female bounty hunter Abby. She’s hired along with her partner, Dwight, and a pair of Pinkerton detectives to find the kidnapped fourteen-year-old twin daughters of a wealthy couple. The novel has plenty of action, with the guilty and innocent killed. Alan Carlson’s narration is well done. I wanted to give it five stars but I hate it when the author switches character perspective mid-scene. Still, highly recommended. At my request, I was given this free audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

The Lost ones

This is the best western I have listened to in a long time. it grabs your attention at the start and keeps it till the end. These girls gets kidnapped and it turns into a mystery . it's worth every penny and every minute you spend on it. I will buy any book they add to this series. The Narrator did an excellent job. He did good with all the different voices. if my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you

A classic western with a twist

The Lost Ones. ..
A western thriller set in 1891.
I didn't know that there were pedophiles in the 1800 hundreds. The story of a female bounty hunter tracking down the abductors of 2 girls. Strong characters both good and bad and a storyline that keeps you turning pages.
It is a western that is different from the norm but it is a very good listen.

Strong-willed woman!

Our girl Abigail, from the first book, has followed through on her desire to become a bounty hunter. She’s picked up a partner she can trust, and they have slowly been making a name for themselves. She calls herself Abby Sure Shot these days. Abby has also done some growing up, being more confident, and a bit meaner. This girl doesn’t take any crap from anybody, and she’s pretty quick with that six-gun. Abby, her partner, and a couple of Pinkerton agents have been hired by a wealthy railroad baron to find his two young kidnapped daughters. What they find is more troubling and more involved than they expected. Great characters, plenty of action, and the narration by Alan Carlson were excellent. Good Listen

The Lost Ones
: G. Michael Hopf

This is a historical piece set in 1861, in the mid-west. When a set of 14 year old twins are kidnapped, most people think it's because of their rich father. It maybe something bigger. Abbie Sure Shot, a bounty hunter, her partner, and the Pinkerton Detectives are hired to get the girls back. There is plenty of action and drama throughout. I enjoyed it very much.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Alan Carlson's voice is perfect for this genre.
