Publisher's Summary
Perfect for fans of The Keeper of Lost Things and The Villa in Italy.
Blue lives a charmed life. From her family's townhouse in Richmond, she lives a life of luxury and couldn't want for anything - well, on the surface at least.
Then, on the night of her 21st birthday, her father makes a startling toast: he will give his daughter's hand to whichever man can capture her heart best in the form of a love letter. But Blue has other ideas, and, unwilling to play at her father's bewildering games, she sets out on her own path to find her own destiny....

The Love Note❣️
My favorite Author is Tracy Rees! I love the way she writes her stories. You can just imagine every character very clearly! It is if you see the play in your head. I enjoyed the relationships between the family and friends, it was incredibly caring and loving. I also like that the villains don’t take up much of the story and you have more of the caring loving story of the characters. I will admit I always enjoy a very Happy ending to her books! Especially in the times we are all living, it is perfect to listen to her books. The Narrator Jasmine Blackborow did a nice job also! I highly recommend this book and all of Tracy Rees books! I will be reading another one today! Thank you
Leslie😊

The Love Note
Another great story by Tracy Rees. The story took me through an assortment of emotions. I laughed, cried, was shocked, worried and sad. Of the first books I read by Tracy Rees were Florence Grace and Amy Snow which I loved so much I read more than once each. I can add the Love Note to the list of rereads. The narration was excellent, very fitting for the storyline.

Not a favorite - but okay
I've only listened to one Tracy Reed book before this one - I LOVED IT!!!!! So I was excited to read this one. I didn't care for this one as well. I did enjoy it enough to finish, but got bored in it several times. It's a nice story, just dragged out a bit. I also felt the name of the book didn't wasn't captured very well in the book. I will definitely read more of her books as the first one I read was brilliant.

Disappointing
I hope it gets better. I’m only about an hour into the book but about ready to abandon it. The narrator’s fake accent is cringe-worthy. I have enjoyed other Tracy Rees novels so maybe this one will improve if I stick with it.

Too posh and superficial
I can’t decide what I think about this audiobook. It was OK. The performances were good and characters distinguishable. But it was just SO posh! Whilst the story touched on some heavy storylines (domestic abuse, child loss and homosexuality) I can’t help thinking that each was dealt with very superficially. They were almost glossed over. The culmination of the domestic abuse storyline was over in a flash! The chapters were also very short, which was OK but contributed to my feeling of lack of substance to the story. Without giving anything away there was also something that one of the main characters did that for me was unforgivable and it changed my entire view of that character. I will try another by this author but was not too impressed with this first one.

The Love Note
Tracy Rees once again captured my imagination with The Love Note. A beautifully woven story about family, kindness, compassion, and love - finding it, discovering it for the first time, and knowing what it's like to lose it.
The story is full of interesting and varied characters that held my attention.
I loved the detailed descriptions of places I have visited in and around Richmond too.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book by this talented author.

Nice story
A really enjoyable read, nicely narrated. The story had a few twists and turns, not as predictable as some. Something light and easy going, nice historical romance.
