Publisher's Summary

The brand-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from the best-selling author of Life's a Beach and Stuck on You.

Do movie romances ever happen in real life?

Frankie doesn't believe in true love. As relationships expert at popular magazine Stylife, she has learnt that dating disasters are far more common than happy-ever-afters.

So when she is tasked to find out if meet cutes can work in real life, she is up for the challenge—but whether it's being a damsel in distress with a flat tyre or spilling coffee over a stranger, she isn't convinced this can really lead to love.

But little does Frankie know that the ultimate meet-cute opportunity is just around the corner. As she is whisked off her feet (all in the name of her work project, of course) perhaps true love isn't just for the movies after all?

Join best-selling author Portia MacIntosh for a laugh-out-loud, feel-good summer listen, guaranteed to whisk you away and put a smile on your face.

Almost gave up, then the storyline kicked in

Didnt like the early chapters, female protagonist was an idiot, constantly in ridiculous situations and with verbal diarrhoea.
But the story arrived and helped offset this.
Narration by Karen Cass awesome, as always.

Wild ride. Cute story

The main character is a bit nuts, but in a fun way. Her job as a magazine writer of a single woman’s column gets her in a lot of trouble as she looks for romance in the wrong places. She ends up helping a guy she meets con his rich family into thinking he’s engaged to avoid their wrath. Over the top, yes. Fun, very.

Don't take this the wrong way, please keep reading.
Books by Portia Macintosh are like going on holiday. You really look forward to starting the book. You go on a journey & you love every minute. And then it comes to an end & you feel so sad.
This book was just like that holiday. It made me really laugh out loud. The story & characters were brilliant.
I would definitely recommend it.

Another great story from Portia MacIntosh

This didn't make me laugh out loud as much as some of her other books have, but I still loved it!
A fab story, with a lovely ending and excellent narration again by Karen Cass.

A lift to love

What isn't to like Portia and Karen make a great team. Really enjoyed it, so funny in so many places. The family was hilarious.....love the two main characters. It isn't plausible in any shape or form but who cares..pure escapism just what you need 😉

Brilliant

I absolutely love this author and narrator so I didn't hesitate to buy the audio and ebook. I'm glad I bought both because when I couldn't listen, I could carry on reading it. Portia Macintosh's stories always make me feel good, I love the characters and the storyline, I would love to revisit these characters and see how their journey continued.
I would definitely recommend this!

Once again PORTIA MACINTOSH + KAREN CASS = 5🌟

5 Star Review🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I RARELY GIVE 5 Star's but this book was hilarious!

Brilliant writing Portia, I love 😍listening to your books. I didn't actually see the twist coming with the 'Paul Rudd' lookalike Max. I was instantly hooked to this story and I really did not see the family thing coming.

The story was wonderful and refreshing. I listened to it over 2 days and really belly laughed, so did my husband 😂
It was 'ChickLit ' at it's very best, I couldn't stop listening to it.

Karen Cass smashed it as a narrator as she always does. Your writing & Karen's narrating is just perfection.

It was definitely worth the credit and I completely recommend it to you all 😀👍
