What is the Wyckoff Methodology? It is a technical analysis approach based on the study of supply and demand; that is, on the continuous interaction between buyers and sellers. The approach is simple: When well-informed traders want to buy or sell, they carry out processes that leave their traces on the chart through price and volume. The Wyckoff Methodology tries to identify that professional intervention to try to elucidate who is most likely to be in control of the market and enable us to pose judicious scenarios of where the price is most likely to go.

Publisher's Summary
A step-by-step system for mastering trading psychology.
Think about your most costly and recurring trading mistakes. Chances are that they're related to common errors, such as chasing price, cutting winners short, forcing mediocre trades, and overtrading. You've likely tried to fix these errors by improving your technical skills, and yet they persist. That's because the real source of these mistakes is not technical - they actually stem from greed, fear, anger, or problems with confidence and discipline.
If you are like most traders, you probably overlook or misunderstand mental and emotional obstacles. Or worse, you might think you know how to manage them, but you don't, and end up losing control at the worst possible time. You're leaving too much money on the table, which will either prevent you from being profitable or realizing your potential.
While many trading psychology books offer sound advice, they don't show you how to do the necessary work. That's why you haven't solved the problems hurting your performance. With straight talk and practical solutions, Jared Tendler brings a new voice to trading psychology. In The Mental Game of Trading, he busts myths about emotions, greed, and discipline, and shows you how to look past the obvious to identify the real reasons you're struggling.
This book is different from anything else on the market. You'll get a step-by-step system for discovering the cause of your problems and eliminating them once and for all. And through real stories of traders from around the world who have successfully used Tendler's system, you'll learn how to tackle your problems, improve your day-to-day performance, and increase your profits.
Whether you're an independent or institutional trader, and regardless of whether you trade equities, forex, or cryptocurrencies, you can use this system to improve your decision-making and execution. Finally, you have a way to reach your potential as a trader. Now's the time to make it happen.

Required Reading
If you only buy one book on the mental aspects of trading make it this one. Mr. Tendler has created a masterpiece. He provides example after example of the problems plaguing every trader, as well as the requisite solutions. If you can’t afford a Trading Psychologist, this book is an excellent stop gap helping to take your trading to the next level.
My only criticism is the needless swearing. A strong argument doesn’t need an F-bomb to illustrate its effectiveness. I suppose the target audience does a lot of swearing, but I am biased toward cleaner language in most situations outside of a bowling ball being dropped on my foot. It’s the times we live in, I suppose.
Some may not enjoy authors reading their own work, but I insist regardless of skill level (for nonfiction). It helps make the book move real rather than simply a performance.
Excellent book. I will definitely read it again and again.

Finally, a Trading Psychology Expert Gets Me
I could tell within the first couple of chapters that Jared truly understands traders and what mental mistakes we make. He understands that we often make the same mistakes over and over, even though we know better. And, he expertly takes us through the journey and process of fixing the deep mental errors and learned thinking flaws that cause the mistakes to recur. I love this book.

Required reading if you're serious about trading
Most reference Elder, Douglas and the like but trading psychology needed an update it didn't know it needed. After reading this you'll realize why most of those other books don't really get to the heart of the psychological/emotional aspect of your trading.
Jared's is one of the only practical and actionable books in the field.
This isn't one that you will (or really should) digest in one read.
It's one that will be re-read and implemented for many years.
Extremely relatable trading examples. Really eye-opening when reviewing your decision making processes.

Now
it is only for me to do the work. I never thought of having to train my mental health. But I see the point. I did lift weights some years. I did think through what I was going to do in my training before I started (mental preparation). I don't think that I would have gotten as strong as I were by only read about what muscle I had either.. Which is basically what I have done after trading psychology books before. (That said, I have books with suggestions for exercising different stuff, but not like this. By using the same methodology for all your flaws. (well same"system").
I actually are one of those mentioned in the book, which got good grades compared to peers without having to itch myself. So this is my first problem to overcome. However when it comes to trading I actually do the work. Need to adjust some procrastination tho. I will start with that next week!

I just finished my first pass through. As I start my second pass I will be able to identify what direction the author is taking me. The system in this book is part if the holy grail in trading. Fantastic book
I only recently started investing about 5 months ago at the ripe age of 35, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible. One thing I’ve learned is that there’s a difference between investing and trading, and I’m definitely an investor, so I’m not the target audience for this book. With that being said, I absolutely loved the book and am really glad that I read it. I stumbled across Jared Tendler on Twitter, and I love learning about the psychology and behavioral economics of how we make decisions, so I gave this book a chance. Not only does this book provide a ton of value for traders, but every investor can benefit from this too. I jumped into the market in February 2021, and it’s all been awful since then, and this book really helped put some things into perspective. What’s awesome about this book is that it provides practical advice for everyone when it comes to managing your emotions and making better decisions overall. So, no matter who you are, I really think you should check out this book or one of the others from Tendler.

The Game Changer
It’s clear very early on into the book that Jared has done a lot to get this point in producing such a well put together book for us traders. Be in no doubt that he’ll have your flaws made clear to you, plus a bunch of other flaws you might now have expected too. Though I am only beginning to implement the strategies he has outlined, it’s again pretty clear to me that this is the way forward, and that any failure to make progress will be all on my shoulders. The truth shall set you free. Best wishes to all of us.

Understanding of trading psychology
I’ve started to study trading around 6 months ago and this book explains very well what’s going on in your head before, during and after a trade.
Is very interesting how our brain works and specially being able to pause, observe and take a note of each of our feelings or worries, so like that we can understand better ourselves and correct it in the future.
I’m very new to this world but definitely I’ve been taking notes so I can refer to them when I need and for sure I’ll listen it again in some near future.

Great tool for traders who struggle with disciplin
This book is mainly focusing on the emotional and psychological game of trading.
I am quiet impressed with the methodical and specific approach to every psychological issue that can arise while trading and how to iron them out, with very specific strategies. If one who struggles with emotions while trading, applies these strategies, I am very confident that they will resolve their problems, as long as they fallow the steps described in the book!
Nice touch - The fact that the author is also a narrator.
All and all, great tool for any trader!
