Publisher's Summary

Things are about to go from bad to wolf in the howlingly entertaining third book of the Wingfeather Saga.

Janner, Tink, and Leeli Igiby, the Lost Jewels of Anniera, are hiding from Gnag the Nameless in the Green Hollows, one of the few places in the land of Aerwiar not overrun by the Fangs of Dang. But there's a big problem. Janner's little brother - heir to the throne of Anniera - has grown a tail. And gray fur. Not to mention two pointed ears and long, dangerous fangs. To the suspicious folk of the Green Hollows, he looks like a monster.

But Janner knows better. His brother isn't as scary as he looks. He's perfectly harmless. Isn't he?

Full of characters rich in heart, smarts, and courage, The Monster in the Hollows is a tale children of all ages will cherish, families can listen to together, and book clubs are sure to enjoy discussing for its many layers of meaning.

Excellent every time

There is little better than having the author read his work and knowing the love he has poured into it. A once in a generation story, meant to be read and heard over and over again.

8 year old boy

I’m a homeschool mother to a 5 and an 8 year old boy. My 8 year old son is dyslexia and reading has been such a struggle. This action packed series has been such an encouragement for him to push through difficult learning curves. The parallels that we’ve been able to talk through as the book brings about real life struggles has been wonderful. Highly recommend!

Another Absolute Treasure!

I just pre-listened to this book for my children and it was incredible, sad yet poetically beautiful story that I couldn't help but grab a box of kleenex by the end. It whispers of the hidden strength of humility, as well as sings brightly the cultivation of other virtues as well, the sacrifices it may entail and the glorious victory of a life belonging to God. Stunning.

BEST SERIES EVER!!!!!!

We can't decide whether it's the story itself or the narration that makes this book so incredible. We start every homeschool day with Bible, Wingfeather, then academics. Keep writing and we will keep listening.

I Couldn't Turn It Off!

I am previewing these books for my kids, and each one is better than the last. I'm 44 years old and find myself laughing and crying, and I stayed up half the night to listen to "just one more chapter" but couldn't stop. I can't wait to see what happens in book 4!
