Publisher's Summary

When a body is found draped over Swanage’s iconic Globe monument, DCI Lesley Clarke is called in. A message points to the motive: "Go home."

Is this a hate crime? Or something closer to home?

Lesley must find the killer before he or she strikes again, all while dealing with a mutiny in her team and political pressure from her boss.

At the same time, a local journalist has been investigating the death of Lesley's predecessor—and claims to have key information. Wary of involving her team, Lesley brings in her old colleague Zoe Finch to help.

Will Lesley come out of this case with her reputation, her team, and her career intact?

The Monument Murders is the fourth installment in the best-selling Dorset Crime series, essential listening for everyone who loves Dorset…and gripping crime novels.

Too short!

I feel that the writer could easily write a longer more detailed story. I have had to relisten as it seemed I missed a few things, and found that story was rushed and missing details.

Great Series - NOT The Best Story

I adore this series, but this book left plenty of holes. It was missing edge and true mystery. The psychologist was almost an afterthought. I'll stay with the series because I love the characters and I'm invested.

Great story

would prefer the narrative without accents, especially the Brummie accent, not a good one
