By far the best audiobook on vocabulary out there

I was a little skeptical when I was buying this book as it is fairly new and not a tested product, but I decided to go with it anyway. I went over the entire audiobook (It is really well structured by the way) and I have to say this -

What AMAZING content!

The authors teach us the right way to go about building a stupendous vocabulary. The book is equipped with a step-by-step plan and routine to carry out all of the lessons. The pronunciation part has some really cool tricks and hacks. I never knew spellings would be so easy to crack down!

The book is full of knowledgeable advice and it definitely looks like the authors know what they are talking about. I am glad I went for it.

I also loved the narration as it was very clear and had proper pauses when needed. This is my first audiobook and I'm already in love with them.

The book also has a bonus section on fluency and communication. Interesting stuff there too. The video links were really helpful. Just so so much condensed information which is easy to understand too. Loved it. If you are confused as to which audiobook you should go for, then, without a doubt, go for this one. You won't to disappoint a bit.

Hope to see many more books in the ENG Wizards series...

One of my favourite books on the topic

As a graduate in English Literature, I still found this book to be helpful. Much better than other audiobooks in the same category which follow the totally useless contextual method. Found this to be much more effective. Recommended.

Build a HUGE vocabulary

This audiobook will make you a vocabulary building machine, quite literally! I learnt 20 new words in the first week, on autopilot, just following the super simple blueprint. I am amazed! Go for it, you possibly can't be disappointed.

I expected something else.

I thought this book would have paragraphs, where the author would guide us through the usage of new words. But, as it turned out, this book has a blueprint to learn vocabulary and a word list at the end. Wasn't very sure at the start, but now, I find it a good way to build vocabulary.

One of the best...

This audiobook is immensely helpful for anybody who is thinking of appearing for entrance exams. I wanted a grammar section inside too, but grammar and punctuation is going to be a separate book. This surely is helping me out in my preparation.

Ton of resources inside

This book is a great value proposition for the price, I must say. There are a ton of resources inside - from never-seen-before website links to informative youtube videos. I am glad I got this. A happy customer.

A good book. Execution is key.

It does have everything you need. But, as the author says in the beginning, it is up to you to execute and bring about a change. So, take action now.

Is it a joke?

This book can be useful only for people who spent the last 30 years in the cave without internet and never heard about flashcards. The answer to those questions from sample/description is an introduction to you the most know and most popular method broadly used and described on any free website or blog related to learning languages. Paper flashcards popular few years ago? Seriously? In 2019, when probably everyone heard or tried apps like Anki, Supermemo, Memrise, etc?

After that this guy reading over a hundred random words from a free dictionary with example sentences and give you synonyms, antonyms, etc. Another amazing stuff for peoples from caves who never heard and don't know how to use free online dictionaries.

Is it a joke? Who writes those reviews?

Good but could have been better

This is a good book for students. The only part which could have been better is the pronunciation section. Although the pronunciation section is brief and helpful, I would have wanted a whole separate book on it.

Good but...

I actually like this title and do recommend it to friends and family but I would have LOVED it had it been a little longer and more in depth. Still, value for money. Recommended.

Honest review

Here is my honest review on "The No-BS guide to English Vocabulary and Effective Communication". I received a free review copy and I am writing this review at my own will. This book takes a very refreshing approach to certain sections. I really liked the cool unique tricks in the spelling and pronunciation section. This book is full of such practical innovative methods. Coming the cons, I feel this book has a huge word list at the end. For some this may be a pro, but for me, I got overwhelmed. But, all in all, this was a great listen!

Awesome narration!

I can listen to this for days! The only problem I had with vocabulary audiobooks I tried was that they had horrible narration with cracking audio. This one fixes that. Good, deep voice with proper pronunciation and breaks. I loved it. Nine out of Ten at least.
