Story
One thousand years later. Humanity has left Earth behind and is rapidly expanding throughout the galaxy under the banner of The Union, a white supremacist government who racially ‘purified’ the human race hundreds of years in the past. Living on the fringe of this twisted Fourth Reich society, Dark Horse - the only Black man in the Union - commandeers a vessel and scours the galaxy for his missing teammates under the guise of an Exo-Hunter, seeking out exo-planets to satiate the Union’s need for colonization.

Story
Lost in time, the town of Black Creek, Kentucky becomes home to temporal layers of people, creatures, and monsters from disparate eras. Journey beyond the time of humanity and witness the rewriting of mankind’s genesis. For Owen McCoy, a typical day on the job as head of security for Synergy, a research company conducting mysterious experiments, is boring at best. And that’s the way he likes it. Patrolling the Appalachian mountainside, where his now deceased father taught him how to hunt, is relaxing and connects him to the past.

Freeman is a genius with an uncommon mixture of memory, intelligence, and creativity. He lives in a worldwide utopia, but it was not always so. There was a time known as the Grind - when Freeman's people lived as slaves to another race referred to simply as "Master". They were property. But a civil rights movement emerged. Change seemed near, but the Masters refused to bend. Instead, they declared war. And lost. Now, the freed world is threatened by a virus, spread through bites, sweeping through the population. Those infected change - they are propelled to violence, driven to disperse the virus.

Publisher's Summary
When two galactic forces collide—one spreading chaos, the other demanding order—New York Times and number one Audible best-selling author Jeremy Robinson defends Earth with characters from three of his fan-favorite novels: The Others, Flux, and Exo-Hunter.
Mysterious gateways are appearing throughout the universe, bridging violent civilizations, leading to war, and sowing chaos. While some species succumb to the pandemonium, the Chut’un forge an unholy symbiotic relationship—The Order—with red Europhids, a vast hive intelligence populating the universe’s far reaches. Desiring structure and fearing the unknown, they cull everything opposed to their plan, including the Europhids’ blue counterparts, carrying out a galactic genocide until only one blue Europhid remains...inside Moses Montgomery, a.k.a. "Dark Horse".
As a Rapid Reaction Force Marine from 1989, Dark Horse and his team were sent 1,000 years into the future where they defeated the Union, an evil fascist empire. Back in the present, after preventing the Union from ever forming, Dark Horse and his team of...unique operators from the past and the future are ready to kick back, listen to some tunes, and enjoy the timeline they saved.
But as the last threat to The Order’s machinations, Dark Horse finds himself with an alien target on his back. Joined by Dan Delgado and Wini Finch (The Others) and Owen McCoy (Flux), the team attempts to understand the gates that first appeared in New Hampshire and now in Antarctica. Despite their vast experience with the strange and otherworldly, none of them are prepared for what comes next. Three members of the team are abducted, whisked away to another planet. Alive or dead, no one knows.
Dark Horse and his now ragtag team struggle to track down their missing teammates while being hunted themselves. With the fate of his friends—and all of Earth—hanging in the balance, Dark Horse is forced to take insane risks, create chaos, and do anything to get his people back.
To save humanity...he must sacrifice his own.

Massive Crossover Novel
This is not a period drama. It's not Downton Abbey or Wuthering Heights. It's not a complex scifi space opera with deeply technical physics and questionable clothing choices. This book is like listening to an insane action movie pumped into your ears with all the ferocity of David Hasselhoff drinking Redbull on the back of a charging Capybara while Icelands entry to Eurovision blares in the background.
The Order is funny, fast paced and filled with action end to end. I almost crashed my car laughing at one point. For those that love his books, you're rewarded with easter eggs throughout. He even managed to incorporate a musical playlist to augment the action which becomes part of the story! Who even does that!? Simply amazing.
I have been looking forward to this book for a long time. It brings together characters from Exo Hunter, The Other, Flux and Secondworld as well as mentioning characters and events from other recent novels like Infinite, The Dark, TRIBE and MindBullet. It's not really a series, as each is a book in their own right, but they are all connected in some way. The author has clearly been planning this for years and man does it pay off. I can't wait for the next crossover later in the year.
I honestly don't get these couple of one star reviews. It's like the reviewer either didn't read the same book, picked up the wrong book on political science or have some alternate agenda.

Another 10/10 From The King of Monsters and Fringe Science
This book is an epic explosion of mad science fiction, 80s & 90s pop culture and music, and monsters that can’t be found anywhere but in JR novels. You probably should read Exo-Hunter first in order to truly enjoy this book, but there are also plenty of Easter eggs for his other novels which I love recognizing and have me excited to check out stories I might have missed otherwise. The mood can be dark or serious as the story progresses, but there are many other moments where I was absolutely laughing at the diverse cast of characters bantering with each other. (Not always safe for work lol) I wish I could mention some of my favorites, but I’ll keep it spoiler free. I definitely cannot wait for more!

Great fun story by an amazing author
This is another great story. Bringing characters from 3 novels together for an action packed thrilling sci-fi story spanning the galaxy and beyond. Filled with humorous moments to break up the action and drama this is one of the best Jeremy Robbinson books I've had the pleasure of listening. Narrated by the great R. C. Bray each of the characters unique personalities come through.

JR is consistently excellent
Jeremy Robinson is just a consistently excellent storyteller. I love all of his books, and The Order did not disappoint. JR does an amazing job of meshing the ordinary with the outlandish, which makes the outlandish creepily believable. He mixes in just the right amount of offbeat, awesome, right-up-my-alley humor. I love when he weaves music references into his book that infect you with the earworms you just can’t shake. The best part of this book is that he brought back my favorite characters, along with a few I didn’t remember but have now been elevated to favorite status. Loved the book and can’t wait for the next one!

A little all over the place.
Look, I like the funny antidotes and 80 pop culture references. It kept me going though the end but it was a little all over the place. I had to pause to remember the other stories that are connected to this book. It felt a little over the top at times and almost had me reconsidering finishing it. I won’t give up though and I hope the next one is a little more grounded.

Continues to deliver
I love these books and this amalgamation of so many characters. Time lines make sense and over the last few years seams like a natural progression tactfully brought together. Nice one Jeremy and good memory for voices and narration B Man.

A fast paced romp of madness
The knockout team of Jeremy Robinson’s storytelling and RC Bray’s performance delivers again. This book is best served after reading The Others, Flux, and Exohunter, which are all just as good. And if you’ve finished those then you’d have bought this book without reading the reviews.

Hilarious. Amazing. Crazy
As usual Jeremy Robinson delivers a fantastic Sci-Fi novel that ties in many of his previous works. The performance by RC Bray is excellent and engaging. I can’t wait for the series finale Singularity to be released!

Another amazing story
Absolutely loved this new book by Jeremy Robinson! Another amazing story and always leaves me wanting more. So funny and exciting, love the humour. These guys are probably my fav, loved Exo Hunter and now loved this one. The other crossovers are awesome too but Dark Horse is my favourite story. x
He is a brilliant author, please keep em coming!
