Publisher's Summary

When two galactic forces collideone spreading chaos, the other demanding orderNew York Times and number one Audible best-selling author Jeremy Robinson defends Earth with characters from three of his fan-favorite novels: The OthersFlux, and Exo-Hunter.

Mysterious gateways are appearing throughout the universe, bridging violent civilizations, leading to war, and sowing chaos. While some species succumb to the pandemonium, the Chut’un forge an unholy symbiotic relationship—The Order—with red Europhids, a vast hive intelligence populating the universe’s far reaches. Desiring structure and fearing the unknown, they cull everything opposed to their plan, including the Europhids’ blue counterparts, carrying out a galactic genocide until only one blue Europhid remains...inside Moses Montgomery, a.k.a. "Dark Horse".

As a Rapid Reaction Force Marine from 1989, Dark Horse and his team were sent 1,000 years into the future where they defeated the Union, an evil fascist empire. Back in the present, after preventing the Union from ever forming, Dark Horse and his team of...unique operators from the past and the future are ready to kick back, listen to some tunes, and enjoy the timeline they saved.

But as the last threat to The Order’s machinations, Dark Horse finds himself with an alien target on his back. Joined by Dan Delgado and Wini Finch (The Others) and Owen McCoy (Flux), the team attempts to understand the gates that first appeared in New Hampshire and now in Antarctica. Despite their vast experience with the strange and otherworldly, none of them are prepared for what comes next. Three members of the team are abducted, whisked away to another planet. Alive or dead, no one knows.

Dark Horse and his now ragtag team struggle to track down their missing teammates while being hunted themselves. With the fate of his friends—and all of Earth—hanging in the balance, Dark Horse is forced to take insane risks, create chaos, and do anything to get his people back.

To save humanity...he must sacrifice his own.

Massive Crossover Novel

This is not a period drama. It's not Downton Abbey or Wuthering Heights. It's not a complex scifi space opera with deeply technical physics and questionable clothing choices. This book is like listening to an insane action movie pumped into your ears with all the ferocity of David Hasselhoff drinking Redbull on the back of a charging Capybara while Icelands entry to Eurovision blares in the background.

The Order is funny, fast paced and filled with action end to end. I almost crashed my car laughing at one point. For those that love his books, you're rewarded with easter eggs throughout. He even managed to incorporate a musical playlist to augment the action which becomes part of the story! Who even does that!? Simply amazing.

I have been looking forward to this book for a long time. It brings together characters from Exo Hunter, The Other, Flux and Secondworld as well as mentioning characters and events from other recent novels like Infinite, The Dark, TRIBE and MindBullet. It's not really a series, as each is a book in their own right, but they are all connected in some way. The author has clearly been planning this for years and man does it pay off. I can't wait for the next crossover later in the year.

I honestly don't get these couple of one star reviews. It's like the reviewer either didn't read the same book, picked up the wrong book on political science or have some alternate agenda.

Confused

It’s not entirely necessary to read the books written prior to this one, but it would help, tremendously. Even though these books aren’t a series, they’re written like a series. This book is marketed as a stand-alone book, but it starts , I imagine, where the previous book left off. It would be helpful if the author included this fact in his synopsis. It was very difficult to get into the story and I refuse to buy the previous book to catch up.

couldn't get more than 10 minutes in

not sure how the rest of the book goes but the entire first 10 minutes is just virtue signaling nonsense. if you love getting told who is and isn't virtuous endlessly this is the book for you. if you're looking for good scifi, keep browsing cus this isn't it

Great fun story by an amazing author

This is another great story. Bringing characters from 3 novels together for an action packed thrilling sci-fi story spanning the galaxy and beyond. Filled with humorous moments to break up the action and drama this is one of the best Jeremy Robbinson books I've had the pleasure of listening. Narrated by the great R. C. Bray each of the characters unique personalities come through.

Another 10/10 From The King of Monsters and Fringe Science

This book is an epic explosion of mad science fiction, 80s & 90s pop culture and music, and monsters that can’t be found anywhere but in JR novels. You probably should read Exo-Hunter first in order to truly enjoy this book, but there are also plenty of Easter eggs for his other novels which I love recognizing and have me excited to check out stories I might have missed otherwise. The mood can be dark or serious as the story progresses, but there are many other moments where I was absolutely laughing at the diverse cast of characters bantering with each other. (Not always safe for work lol) I wish I could mention some of my favorites, but I’ll keep it spoiler free. I definitely cannot wait for more!

Fun fun fun!

I’m digging Jeremy Robinson’s current timeline series (bewareofmonsters.com has the full list of books with the order). The Order kicks it up another notch! Do not miss this one, folks! RC Bray dominates as usual, too!

Great addition to the Infinite timeline

Reads like a fast paced action movie with some laugh out loud moments. It could work as a stand alone book, but it's so much better if you've read the other novels that tie the timeline together. I can't wait for the next 2 books! R.C. Bray's narration was brilliant, as always.

TikTok in Book Form

I’ve read or listened to much of Robinson’s work and found it at least tolerable. Sometimes enjoyable. I’m long desensitized by the audio book industry’s dedication to pairing the best voice actors with the worst books. I commend the tradition likely as old as Homo sapiens of artists using their art as therapy for whatever ails their minds. Even so, I couldn’t finish this one. It felt like a counseling session gone awry. Random streams of consciousness not merely referencing popular culture topics and memes at every contrived moment, but diving into them for prolonged yet superficial banter about them. Normally I’d say an editor or a loved one should have attacked the manuscript with a chainsaw and without mercy. But then there’d be all of half a page left of this one.

Another JR masterpiece

In typical JR fashion, this book has Sci-Fi, Action, Humor (lots of humor) and drama. It's a great addition to the INFINiTE timeline and I can't wait for Khoas and Singularity to tie them all together!

Scattered like a shotgun blast to the face.

Sorry but this book just did not cut it for me. Too many bits and pieces from past books to create the JR universe. I had a hard time figuring out where I was half the time. FYI don’t dose off or you’ll wake up and have nooo clue what universe you’re in.

I’m a big fan of team Jeremy Robinson and RC Bray but please put the shotgun away and get back to what we all love, you creating new and exciting characters. PS: The Multiverse has been done and we were all glad it was over.

Another great team Robinson-RC.Bray production

Dark horse is a great main character, and RC Bray has another fantastic performance to bring this adventure alive.
Space travel, all sorts of extra terrestrials, amusing crew for a cast of characters, with music suggestions peppered in, recommended for an entertaining listening!

A follow-up like few others...

While this felt more like a sequel to Exo-Hunter than a full-on crossover with other books in the Infinite Timeline, that impacted my enjoyment absolutely none. Exo-Hunter is one of the most fun and enjoyable books in the timeline, and this is a worthy follow up to it. lots of action and humor all leading to a climax that is a total riot. Robinson in top form, and sets up future crossovers very well.

Bray is fantastic as always, and it was fantastic to have a small blooper reel as a bonus to the book.

19/11/22 As far as the Timeline goes

Well another great story from Robinson. Although a little sad because at this time the next Infinite Timeline Book not released yet. But the "I'm Sorry's" turning up was a nice touch. The battle may be won but the War still a long way from certain

Everything was excellent apart from one brief bit where RC Bray did cowboy's voice instead of Owen's in the big battle. Other than that, brilliant stuff.

Sadly Wasn’t For Me

I gave it a go as have really enjoyed some of J.Robinsons other work.
However this for me wasn’t so good.
It’s probably more me than the book but I found it difficult to follow and it didn’t really make much sense to me.
I will go away and check if I’ve messed up by not checking out a prequel as that could be my issue here.

But once again even without enjoying the story R.C.Bray once again delivering the goods from the narration side. What a voice.

A fast paced romp of madness

The knockout team of Jeremy Robinson’s storytelling and RC Bray’s performance delivers again. This book is best served after reading The Others, Flux, and Exohunter, which are all just as good. And if you’ve finished those then you’d have bought this book without reading the reviews.
