Publisher's Summary

They don’t fight for Spark City anymore. But they fight. They are The Outcasts.

Hiding in The Wastes, Erroh and his band of exiles must find a way to defend a city that they can never return to. But with Magnus adrift, his warriors decimated, all appears lost as Uden begins his march.

A world away, the deadly assassin, Aurora, is hunting down the man who stole her god’s eye.

Meanwhile, Spark City’s fall has already begun from within its own walls. As war bears down on them all, The Outcasts are running out of time and options. Can they survive long enough to stop Uden’s war before it burns them all, or will this be their final battle?

I Really Like The Series

I really like the series. Just like GoT you never know which character will be killed of but it's a good story with the right amount of sarcastic humor waiting for the next one.

love this series

Best book in the series. Cliche thing to say but hands down this is the best book in a series that started strong and has become my top five. I love these characters, I love their individuality and depth. Action, humour romance, complex true love and pain.

I thought this book was the end of a 3-part series.

Although I have enjoyed this series, I disappointed the author has chosen to continue it, as I thought there was an opportunity to provide a satisfying conclusion & am not sure there is anywhere for the story to go from here. Frankly, battles become boring after a while & there are only so many near death experiences that a hero can be expected survive. I hope the next book will do what this one didn't.

a good listen but...

the premise seems to be bad things happen and then things get worse.. the reader gets a break only when there is (often) violent love making... take the "f" words out and you are minus a third of the story... having said all of that, it is a good listen with an original plot .. the narrator is excellent... overall, a good listen and worth the credit(s)...

Great!

This series is underrated! It's a great read and the length of each book is a positive in my opinion.

Very Vile

I don't even know why I chose to listen to this book, but all 3 from this series back to back was very grating. Of you listened to the first 2 books, then you know the author glorifies abhorrent vileness and justifies it by the antagonist being more vile than the protagonists. There isn't a single redeeming moral trait in this series.

Disappointing

Unnecessarily rude. Kept hoping the storyline would improve. Gave up with Chapter 5. Won't buy any more in this series.
