Listened to this book in one day, on day one it released! The practical information, great stories, and personal anecdotes are so engaging and informative, I will be using this book as PB Atheltic Bible! Thank you so much to Matt and Robert.

A collection of stories about plant based athletes

Not useful or interesting to me. In short just stories about plant based athletes. To many words and to little useful information. If you are interested in hearing about plant based athletes then maybe its for you. I would have liked more info and science or concrete strategies… Maybe if you need to be persuaded that it is possible.

Maybe a good 101

I thought I’d really like this book but I’m more than halfway through and can’t bear to read it anymore. It’s like a written version of the movie Gamechangers, except not good. I read Shred It by Robert and listen to Matt’s podcast and like both, but this book just didn’t do it for me. May serve as a good plant based athlete 101 book. I needed and had thought it would be at least somewhat more advanced.

For Beginners

As a two year vegan, I struggled to finish the book. It is extremely repetitive and the information discussed is widely available on the internet.

The book states facts though and I feel it is intended for new comers to the vegan ways.

Priceless Plant-based Athlete Knowledge!

An incredible amount of information packed into a well written book that is easy to digest all at once or a chapter at a time.
The proof is in this book that you do not have to eat animals to compete as an athlete at any level.
I love hearing about what people from different backgrounds and sports fuel their body with before and after workouts and events.
Excellent job guys!

Some good points but too many prolonged stories

I didn't feel like I learned much new stuff from this book . nothing that u can't jump on youtube and watch. the first half of the book is stuffed with many random stories. why not get to the point? what to eat, how, and some examples of body weight types. no macros either.

A bit derivative; light on original content

I felt like the original content of this book was limited. While the authors did a good job of compiling others stories, I struggle to recommend taking the time to listen to this particular book due to the limited nutritional, scientific, or original content. The authors have given great interviews though, and those I would highly recommend.
