Not as expected
The majority of book referred too much to the circumstances of eating animal products from a humanitarian view point as opposed to a healthy viewpoint. However, that is hard to separate. I wish more had been on what to eat as plant based and why. Only toward the end in recipes did it speak to more of what I was looking for. I think the Dr. is very knowledgeable but for me; it focused more on the humanity of eating than on the health. Not that that is bad, it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Awesome book! But where's the PDF???
I love Dr. Kahn and all of his research. There's just too much evidence to ignore the fact that a WFPBD is a win-win-win! For the environment, for the animals, and for our health. I want to open up my own Greenspace Cafe! Anyway, great book for anyone needing further conviction on the benefits of going vegan. I only wish this book came with a PDF - the recipes sound really great and I'm always looking for easy, new WFPBD meals!

Choose your topics
While I enjoyed the material in Part 1 and most of Part 2, the chapter on the environment was way to long, and I skipped through most of Part 3. Still, I heard a lot of useful information. Overall it's a good book, but you may have to choose the topics you're interested in.
