Narrator struggles

The Narrator of this book really struggles with reading. It is difficult to follow because, she reads slowly, messes or mispronounces words, or has a hard time with the subject.

Enjoyed the message. The reading performance was really rough, she struggled often, and I didn't love the tone, but that could be personal preference.

orator reads like a high schooler

I couldnt get past the 1st 10 minutes. the way the narrator reads makes this so boring I had to turn it off. no inflection or feeling in her voice at all.

Narrator mispronounces many words

It makes it difficult to listen to and take seriously :/
I would think that someone would edit/listen to the narration before putting it on audible for people to spend money on. The content is ok.

Bad narration

The narration is riddled with mistakes and robotic. It sounded impersonal and perhaps that was the intent. This is the first audio book I've struggled to listen to. At some point she says "exiting" instead of "existing" and you have to pause out of confusion and figure out the mistake and go back to listen again. The audible page flipping; the mispronounciaton of words (e.g. 'difference' pronounced as 'dimfrence'); the uncomfortable and awkward pauses, were all cringe worthy moments. Several times I checked my phone to see if the audio stopped for some reason, but it hadn't, it was just an awkward pause. It really took away from the message of the book because it was such a painful listen. I honestly wish I hadn't opted for this book.

Highly recommend

I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who has wished for help getting to sleep. I have used many meditation and self-hypnosis tapes over the past 15 years with varying degrees of success

the narrator is a teenager

I really tried to push through as I enjoy the content but the narrator sounds really young, stumbles and is very over the top. It's just very distracting

Poorly narrated - couldn't finish it

I believe the book is OK but it's been very poorly narrated and that's ruined the whole audio-experience for me. The reader sounds untrained and anxious - i found it very distracting and couldn't enjoy the book at all.

What a great book, worth a listen.

It's simple, really easy to listen to the point, worth the money the only thing I wish they could change the front cover somehow less suicidal that was one of the reasons it put me off buying it but something was telling me to buy it and I'm glad I did.
