I was so thrilled this ended how it did

I know some others considered this story sappy but as someone with a soul mate it was right about where it needed to be. I loved the ending and I loved hades and Persephones relationship. I was surprised by who was behind the gifts which I’m rarely surprised in stories of this nature having read so many. This relationship dosent have many of the toxic elements of other series I enjoy.

Lost me with this one

I love the series but the last book was way too sappy for me with the constant declarations of love and I hate that persephone constantly acted way more weak and helpless than usual. overall good book and worth the read, I just found myself hating her more than usual in this last book.

Readable

Honestly this trilogy was just ok. It was a mildly spicy slow burn that was wholly unsatisfying. The entire story is just a ripoff of the Lore Olympus web comic, right down to the colors used to describe the characters. It was just so underwhelming. The writing style was juvenile, the characters bland, and the plot was non existent. It's very much a "here's a bunch of crazy fantastical stuff that just happens and we're just gonna roll with it" kind of book.If you like quick reads as background noise, this will do.

better than I thought it would be

I've just finished the Hades Trial series, and the plot was damn good. I really really wanted to know what was going to happen. I do already have some decent knowledge of the Greek Pantheon, so I had to let a few things go, that may bug others, but this is fiction, and we suspend belief for that all the time in the name of entertainment. also, Greek myths are all the rage right now in popular literature... I wouldn't buy it if I thought I'd just be reading more Homer.

anyways, I liked it. it was fun and exciting.

Great Ending

I like that nothing comes without struggle and at times, defeat. Hope more books are spun off from this series; the books are not too long and not too short; too bad books of each series are not sold together in a box set. I will keep track of the authors for new releases to this series. Narrator was marvelous.

Glad I read it but...

I enjoyed the first two much more than this final book. It concluded the story, but I wasn’t overwhelmed with that feeling of “I don’t want this to end” nor “I need to know what happens”

great ending to a trilogy

if you like romance, men with an inner beast to be tamed and women who find their own inner strength then give this a listen. it also uses greek mythology very well. plenty of action and plot

recommend

I've always loved the story of Persephone and Hades. This was quite the twist but still a brilliant take.

definitely recommend.

So boring

The only trial in this book series was making it through without rolling my eyes so hard they got stuck in the back of my skull. It reads like a 13 yr old girls diary and has about as much spice as a pinch of white pepper.
The romance was boring and extended to a lot of kissing and some "steamy" moments that left me questioning what kind of sex this main character was doomed to have for Eternity. More hunger games and parties than anything else. Save yourself the pain and find something else.
