Publisher's Summary

"I have a plan. We'll either destroy them for good, or they'll destroy us. Either way, only one of us is walking away."

In the stunning conclusion to the wildly popular White Rabbit Chronicles, Alice "Ali" Bell thinks the worst is behind her. She's ready to take the next step with boyfriend Cole Holland, the leader of the zombie slayers... until Anima Industries, the agency controlling the zombies, launches a sneak attack, killing four of her friends. It's then she realizes that humans can be more dangerous than monsters... and the worst has only begun. As the surviving slayers prepare for war, Ali discovers she, too, can control the zombies... and she isn't the girl she thought she was. She's connected to the woman responsible for killing - and turning - Cole's mother. How can their relationship endure? As secrets come to light, and more slayers are taken or killed, Ali will fight harder than ever to bring down Anima - even sacrificing her own life for those she loves.

The reader was awesome. The book itself is just so crazy good. I get lost in her world everytime. I've read these books 3 times and listened to it once and I love love loved it!! do it.. listen or read it. You won't regret it.

A Bit Disappointing

I liked this series, but this final book was a bit disappointing in a number of respects. This is a teen book, but as an adult reader, I found the chatter between Ali and her friends to be rather annoying in this book. At times, it was hard to listen to because it was so over the top and sterotypical "gril talk."

Ali and Cole have put off having sex because Ali is underage. A hard topic, but the way Showalter handled it was not very smooth.

The ending was rather odd as well. It went from Zombie slayers to something very different.

Bottom line - I had to read the final book in the series, but it was rather disappointing.

Couldn't put it down!

This story pulled at your heart strings and had you wanting more. Nothing was as it seemed and no one was safe. Great conclusion to a great trilogy.

80% inner dialogue not much happened
Different from the first 2 books so I would definitely skip this final book

so sad the story is done

What about Natalie Gold’s performance did you like?

I am very picky about listening to books because a lot of people don't quite get the different voices down. especially when it comes to male and females however Natalie Gold was awesome. I love how she interpreted the different voices.

Any additional comments?

This was definitely a great way to end the story. sad yet happy ending.

Great finale!

Happy sad ending for the third book in the series. Lots of twists and crazy turns-cleansing Zombies???? Missing Kat and Mr Aunk -boo!,,,So much love and maturity for high school kids. Really enjoyed losing myself to this bunch of slayers and misfits.

GS+NG+AB+CH=YA Cake

From first to last impression, this trilogy remains at the top of my list for excellence in YA fiction presented in audio. Kudos to Audible for following through with Natalie Gold as narrator for all three. Her narration lent depth to the individual characters without utilizing falsettos or any of the many exaggerated inflections so commonly found in today's narrated fiction.

Beautiful

This was a long finale but so worth it. Ally gets her happily ever after but not everyone does. It's a heart-rending and beautiful ending. I know there is more to this world but this seems so wrapped up for the most part.
