Oh dear

Not a brilliant story - poorly written and with dire narration. What a pity - seemed such a good premise on which to build.

Wow... really awful..

I just don't understand how this book could get a rating of over 4 stars. I feel as if I'm listening to a story intended for 4 year olds, except it's not about Roger the bunny going an adventure.

Good storyline, pity about writing style

The storyline was very good, but the writing and narration gave the impression that this was written for 10 year olds.
It felt as if the narrated was talking down to the listener, not sure if that was down to the narrator or writing style, but it came across as a bit condescending.

Great storyline

I wish I was around during the wonderful world of steam trains. The story is great, and the characters are believable, and all have a place. I will definitely read more from this author.

Spoilt by reader

A decent enough story spoilt by poor performance skill of the reader.
But I did listen to the end.
