Publisher's Summary

With gripping action and heart-wrenching emotion, Charles Martin continues to explore the true power of sacrificial love.

Murphy Shepherd’s last rescue mission very nearly cost him his life. He’d like nothing more than to stay close to his wife and daughters for a while. But Bones’ brother must be stopped, and there are so many who need to know that they are worth rescuing.

As the cat-and-mouse game moves into the open, Murphy is tested at every turn—both physically and mentally. And then the unthinkable happens: His beloved mentor and friend is taken. Without a trace.

Murphy lives by the mantra that love shows up. But how can he do that when he has no leads?

With heart-stopping clarity, The Record Keeper explores the true cost of leaving the 99 to find the one.

Simply Amazing, Thought Provoking

Jonathan Riggs does a fantastic job narrating a simply amazing, thought Provoking story about love, forgiveness, revenge and how people in the same horrific circumstances can end up drastically different...one a monster, one a rescuer! Put off reviewing overnight because I was that blown away!! Don't want to give away spoilers, so I'll just say it's totally worth it...read, listen...just get it..it's worth it!!

Nice way to finish the series

This was a very suspenseful series. I enjoyed it very much. It brings to light sex trafficking as well as every parents fear of losing a child and the need for us to find the lost ones. I believe it can also show young men and women how easy it is to get sucked into this if you don’t keep up your guard. I am looking forward to reading another book by this author.

Please, no more

Please let this series ago. I should’ve known better because I didn’t like the second one, but I decided to go ahead and give the third one a try. The narrator is OK, but not great. Any time he was trying to voice a bad guy, it just wasn’t believable. My problem with the last book and this book is everything moves so fast. There is never any strife or struggle, and I’m sorry but no one is that good. He had everything figured out, he had an answer to every situation, and he knew how to get out of every problem he found himself in. Immediately. That just isn’t reality, nor was it enjoyable to listen to because instead of enjoying the story I found myself more irritated because it just wasn’t believable or relatable. I really hope this is the last one of his Murphy Shepherd books.
