Really Good Shifter Series Start

This was a slow burn, but over all I liked it. The world building was good, but I did get confused with some of the plot lines that wont be resolved until the next book(s). I also could have used a few more intimate moments between the two main characters, but that's just my personal preference. 🔥🐲

The narrators were ok. I liked Sarah Puckett much more than Alexandre Steele. His voice was too gruff most of the time and lacked any nuance for accents. What bothered me the most though was the abrupt changes between narrators in the same chapter. It would have been ok if they did a duet style, but this was all dual style so it was just jarring to have a chapter abruptly switch narrator midway.

Overall, I was still happy with it and I will be continuing the series. Definitely recommend giving it a listen.

wish it was duel narrator's

The story is interesting and it kept me listening, what I didn't like is the male narrator, he sounds so flat not like a big dragon who should have a deep voice plus when he does the other characters they all sound the same including the female's, it's a huge turn off hearing a man's voice talking as the female. Because of this I won't be listening to the other books in this series sadly .

Dry Narration

The storyline is interesting; however, Sarah’s narration was dry and lifeless. Didn’t think I would be able to finish the book without drifting off the sleep. There are better narrators for the genre that bring the story to life. Will skip the next book.

I love her stories.

I rarely write reviews but thought I would just say I love Abigail as an author and loved this story however I found it very difficult to listen to the male narrator and hope that future books in this series have a different narrator.
