Publisher's Summary

The slumbering dragon has awakened.

Ten years ago in a demonic underworld, my enemies almost killed me.

With the help of a disguised demon serving his own agenda, I survived. Barely.

I decided it was time to retire from the deadly game of hunting mythical relics.

After a decade off the supernatural grid, I needed to sip from Goibniu's Chalice of Agelessness to restore my eternal youth. What started as a quick trip changed dramatically when Goibniu uttered those two magic words.

In the wrong hands, Lugh's Spear could cause mass destruction.

Now I'm heading back to my old stomping grounds where everyone wants me dead to save the innocent people of Pittsburgh. The dragon inside me is ready to ride again and hungry to crack some skulls.

Retirement was fun while it lasted.

Escape the monotony of real life and discover a new and exciting urban fantasy world full of magic, intrigue, and suspense.

This exclusive set includes: Ginger Storm, Black Birds and Sapphire Scales.

Good Series

There are some solid qualities to this story. The action is described well and there is an ample amount. Most of the characters have solid depth. There are a few minor, but nagging plot holes. The performance is very good, though there are some mispronounced names and words. Had I not just listened to the Iron Druid Chronicles, narrated by Luke Daniels, I may not have noticed the mispronunciation of The Morrigan and other Irish lore.

Really loved It!

Loved the sass and roughness of Junniper. All the characters were fun and the perfect amount of darkness.

Classic

I was very impressed on how well the author blended different mythologies and legends seamlessly into the storyline. The book is well written and descriptive with a lot snarky witticism. Liz Brand did a stellar job of bringing the story and characters to life. The ending did leave me wanting more but I still highly recommend this book.

Blend of an amazing story and fabulous narration.

I am so excited that I found this bundle. For only 1 credit I can get all 3 books of this epic tale! The author depicted this reality exactly the way I imagined it in my mind. I can't wait for the next book! Definitely give this book a listen ASAP

Fascinating

This was a fun and fascinating set of books! It was cool how the author weaved together the various mythologies and pantheons of gods from history -- even inspired me to learn about Celtic mythology, which is one I had never looked into before. I really liked the cast of characters, especially the main one, flaws and all. The narrator did a great job and was perfectly suited to the material also. Overall, the only negative is the cliffhanger at the end, leaving me wanting more! :)

“Did you see me pop out of a bottle? I’m not a genie granting wishes over here!”

A good story, but just felt needed a little polishing and felt a little all over the place.
Wasn’t really sure on the target audience. It felt very YA (changing the F word to ‘fook’, which became a little irritating!), but then using 60’s and 70’s pop culture references?
Well narrated but not much character differentiation and never really felt the intensity come through.
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.

kick ass

i love what a bad ass Junipher is and that she is turning her life around the best she can.
this fantasy adventure gives you a glimpse into her past and how her life has changed.
full of action, intrigue and jealousy.
i want to know what happens next NOW haha
my questions are when does she find out about her mother and daughter and how is all the unravelling going to be done and by who?
