Publisher's Summary

Legendary personal development icon Jim Rohn explains the parallels between life and the changing seasons. To realize that the seasons will change without fail and what we can do to utilize each season to get the greatest rewards. This popular book is based on the parable of the sower and the reaper. What to do in one season to ensure success in another season. It's great for those who are going through difficult times personally or financially, because it helps them see that this "winter" in their life will eventually give way to "spring."

Surface Deep

I don't think I've ever written a bad review of a book, but this one simultaneously seemed both exceedingly shallow and excessively preachy. The metaphor of planting, tending, and harvesting in the different seasons of life is fine. But the author saying that anyone who ever gives up -- even under the most difficult of life circumstances -- is "lazy" and essentially disserves their misery? Jeez. Talk about a lack of empathy. Makes all the other advice seem rather disconnected from reality.

Loved it!

I have always enjoyed Jim Rohn's work. This no exception. What's even better is that I can listen to it repeatedly to get as much content as possible. Even while I work.

Narration lack the zest of jim Rohn

Performance will be better if the book was read by the man himself . The narrative lack the enthusiasm and drive of Jim Rohn . Good book but sub par narration

If you need motivation: either because of laziness or because of lack of confidence this is it

Spring:
Take the opportunity
Summer: protect your crops
Autumn: reap what you sow
Winter: adversity always comes, use it to plan, dream, cherish connections
