Chapters are out of order!
I enjoyed his voice, but doubt this is unabridged. Unfortunately, the chapters are out of order, which is a pain. The order in which you should listen are as follows (using the workbook as reference).
Chapter: 1, 6 to 13, 2 to 4
Chapter 1 = 1
Chapter 2 = 10
Chapter 3 = 11
Chapter 4 = 12
Chapter 5 = Bonus chapter? Buying an automobile
Chapter 6 = 2
Chapter 7 = 3
Chapter 8 = 4
Chapter 9 = 5
Chapter 10 = 6
Chapter 11 = 7
Chapter 12 = 8
Chapter 13 = 9

Very disappointing - Not an unabridged recording
Any additional comments?
Chapter two began by referring back to principles (personality styles) developed in Chapter One. The only problem is this was not discussed in Chapter one. Materials from the book have clearly been left out of this recording. I can live with an abridged recording, but don't claim to be otherwise and don't edit so sloppily. Very disappointing.

Any additional comments?
The chapters are completely disorganized, and there are a few missing. Of all the simple fixes, it baffles me that the owners of this content don't fix the problem. There's a lot of good content here, this is timeless negotiation education. Worth a listen if you're someone like me who digs in deep to audio books, listening and re-listening, again and again.

Not sure what happened to half of the book
Would you try another book from Roger Dawson and/or Roger Dawson?
I definitely would - Roger Dawson has great pace at reading, a calm and steady voice. Perfect for lecture-style audiobooks.
What about Roger Dawson’s performance did you like?
His reading style is great to listen and learn to.
Who do you think would benefit most from listening to The Secrets of Power Negotiating?
People who lack basic interpersonal skills, with a lack of understanding of negotiation at the macro level.
The book is not very good at giving adequate techniques, and seems more like a beginning than a complete work.
Any additional comments?
I was awfully disappointed when after listening to the book for 1:26 the end rang, and yet it is advertised as a 5-hour book! Then I got some lengthy message from Nightingale which had nothing to do with the book.
If I had known the book was NOT 5-hours I would not have wasted a credit on it, and would recommend at most paying 10$ for this book.

What disappointed you about The Secrets of Power Negotiating?
the material was outdated and I wanted to see more specific examples
What could Roger Dawson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Cost was way to high for content. I would like to Negotiate that price!
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Roger Dawson?

Great performance -- Chapters in wrong order
What did you like about this audiobook?
The audio is from the cassette era, but the lessons are current as ever.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
There is so much to learn about negotiation and communication. The 4 types of personalities in a negotiation made so much sense:
1. Extrovert
2. Amiable
3. Pragmatist
4. Analytical
Do you have any additional comments?
Chapter order -- please fix this audible, all mixed up (a 1st for audible). Hard to follow when the chapters are all over the place.

I have tested some of the strategies here in asking for a compensation increase at my job. Usually I ask for this once a year and I get up to 10%. Waste of time and money - not unabridged.
Would you try another book written by Roger Dawson or narrated by Roger Dawson?
This book is merely cobbled together from sections of some online course or cassettes by Roger Dawson. It has no coherence, missing great chunks, and lurching from topic to topic. As a narrator, Roger Dawson has an American twang on top of his British accent, which is wincingly unpleasant to listen to. All the vocabulary and examples are American. I absolutely would not, by any stretch of the imagination, consider another Roger Dawson book - but since this isn't really a book at all, just a collection of random recordings, I'm not sure "another" is the right word here.
You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It was mercifully short.
Any additional comments?
Seriously, save your money. And if the book is offered to you for free, save your time.

Repetitive and narrow
For starters it is focused on American culture, and it doesn't consider much more. Besides that, each chapter is like a separate talk/seminar which repeats some of the same phrases of the one before as if never mentioned before, and the book finishes mentioning a next talk to finish the last topic and leaves you hanging. And there is a weird sales like chapter there in the middle and another by a different speaker on similar topic saying the same thing the author mentions in other chapters.
In summary, it is not meant as a audio book, it is badly organized /put together, and with a very narrow view of the world. I wouldn't recommend it.
