Not well thought out. Needed better editing, too.

The author may be an excellent psychiatrist, but his audiobook needed stronger editors who could better focus his thought process. After completing the first four chapters of the first audiobook, I now suspect the first 50 reviews (not coincidentally all five stars), were written by shills to get people to buy the book. I noted before buying that the release date for the book was 11-16-20, and that by 11 -17-20, the book already had five star reviews. I decided to purchase it anyway. After 4 chapters here are my thoughts: if you buy the audiobook, listen at no more than 85-90% speed. The presenter speaks far too quickly for the complex subject he is presenting. With regard to the substance presented, the author drops in non sequiturs frequently, forcing the reader to stop and think "huh?" Most importantly, the author goes into great detail about what is bad about insecurity and anxiety, and then rushes through the techniques he recommends to combat those conditions. In chapter 4, he recommends that you practice several "tips" to combat anxiety, but then neglects to state what those "tips" are! This audiobook is a very difficult listen. If you can find it, an old, out-of-print book entitled "Can You Wait Until Friday?" does a better job of helping those of us struggling with fear, anxiety, and insecurities. To be fair, I'll continue listening to the end, but so far, my vote would be a "pass."

A good introduction to understanding

This is an excellent book to get started. I appreciate how compact the knowledge in this book is and how easy it is to listen.I feel with myself, then the better they will feel with themselves, and the more successful we will be as whole.

I am especially appreciative of the Strategies Section, where author gives you strategies and then discusses practices to put them in place. In the end author talks about long term goals and how to plan for setbacks,

A quick listen with many good ideas

I think it’s important to note that it’s a very basic INTRODUCTION to the tools and strategies being discussed in relation to dealing with improving one’s concept of self-confidence.

Great if you’re open to its ideas

I am only a week in to this book and it has some how changed my life already. This book has enormously helped me in gaining an accurate understanding self worth. At first it felt counter intuitive, but when I applied those ideas in my life, I understood it's the right thing.
