Publisher's Summary

I’ve fallen victim to a heinous act. An act so vile, so downright dirty, that I’m not sure as a 20-year-old man I'll ever recover. Brace yourself, because what I’m about to tell you might have you gasping in secondhand horror.

Ready? Here it goes....I’ve recently become the pawn of a meddling mom. Yes...a meddling mom - who's been trying to set me up all summer. Now, I understand it’s not a crime for a mother to want her child to fall in love, but when she makes it her relentless mission, the heinous act should be classified as a misdemeanor at least.

Of course, my mom, the evil matriarch in the devil’s leggings, made her final stab at finding a girl for me days before I went back to college. And I hate to admit it, but she saved a doozy for last. A titan in black skinny jeans. A boss of nonchalance. And a girl who would not only turn my life upside down, but do it while juggling a soccer ball, looking effortlessly gorgeous around campus, and is 100 percent against relationships. Of any sort. Thanks, Mom.

Beautifully painful

Gah!
I quietly hoped that this book wouldn’t wreck me like the rest of the Brentwood Boys did. But, alas, I was out of luck.
These boys and their stories hit me right in the feels. Every. Single. Time!

Lincoln and Indie took me on a journey that was funny, playful, loving, and painful.
Everything they had to go through to end up where they did had me laughing (thanks moms), sighing in contentment, and at times—holding back tears.

The friendships in this book were so much fun. Scarlett, Hartley, and Hutton were just as entertaining as the moms and I wouldn’t be disappointed AT ALL if Meghan just happened to write more Brentwood inspired stories.

Kelsey and Connor totally knocked it out of the park with their narration. I can already tell I’m going to have a massive book hangover and will definitely need some time before I dive into my next audiobook.

All the stars.

So many tears

I haven’t cried this much during a book in a long time. The ending was a bit blunt after all the drama and year’s of misunderstandings.

The worst book by this author

One demential characters including an emotionally unavailable female who comes across disinterested in Lincoln the entire book. There is no surprise the characters separate for years before their “hea”. They settled for each other. This was a waste of 13+ hours.

Lincoln is my FAVORITE!

All of Meghan Quinn's other baseball guys can step aside, Lincoln is my FAVORITE! He's a gorgeous athlete who is sensitive, thoughtful, smart and loyal. What an amazing friends to lovers tale she created for us! It was so refreshing for the female lead to be a college athlete too. I really enjoyed getting to experience Indie's soccer season and her teammate and roommate Scarlett is such a HOOT. I didn't want The Setup to end- it was filled with Quinn's trademark humor and chemistry. So fun! The performances by Kelsey Navarro and Connor Crais were fantastic- they were perfectly cast and so enjoyable to listen to.

Performance almost ruined it for me

Indie’s vocal fry and the way she elongated the last syllable of every sentence left me almost unable to finish it. Lincoln was okay.

loved it but Indie is not my fav...

I love this series BUT the main female Indie, is driving me nuts! she's so insecure and can't let her parents relationship go to the point she sabotaged her relationships with everyone. quite frustrating...

Least fave of the series

This was my least favorite book of the Brentwood Boys series. I loved Lincoln as a secondary character in the previous books and was very excited for his story. This was a very long slow-burn with two athletes. I love Quinn’s books and this was the first one I truly struggled to finish. The meddling moms with absolutely no boundaries ruined this one for me. I couldn’t see the chemistry between Indie & Lincoln and that broke my heart. Kelsey Navarro & Connor Crais do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

Long Relationship

This is a story of a Link & Indy. Very sweet story of friends to lovers. I adore Link he is such a great guy. In my opinion he let Indy define and lead this relationship. Indy is damaged cause how her parents are with their marriage & each parents relationship with her. I got frustrated with Indy many times. This is a long story that seem to go on & on but I liked it. Have patients & you’ll be good.
Narration by Kelsey Navarro & Connor Craig’s was great. I think they both did great job bring the characters to life.

Beautiful 💖

These two are so frustrating. I think they are the only two who don’t see how much they really like each other. Even love . 😮😮 thank god they came to their Senses . Can’t wait for more . 💖💖💖🙏
