Publisher's Summary

In the land of Eileanan, the Pact of Peace has not meant the end of unrest. Isault and Lachlan must continue to deal with their military position in Tirsoilleir - where a spy has compromised their tactical secrets, leaving them at a tremendous loss.

Isabeau, the witch, longs to rejoin her sister and her home in these uncertain times, but she must first complete one last task for her teachers. To find her true purpose in life, she must reach the Skull of the World and listen to the silent words of the White Gods. Few survive. But those who do are changed forever.

Now, when she does return home, she does so with an extraordinary gift. But when Margrit of Arran decides to take advantage of Lachlan’s absence by kidnapping his son and heir to the throne, Isabeau must learn to use her gifts in the face of evil - and overcome her enemy once and for all.

Great but.....!

Okay, I swallowed this in 24 hours... right after the last one... another amazing ride, but here’s the thing WHEN is Isabeau going to have her romance with Deida 😫 (dunno how to spell his name, I’ve only heard it).

Love the narration as always..... thirsty for the next book!!

Great Listen

I loved the characters. This book introduced new ones. I like how there are so many different events that are moving characters toward proficiency made in earlier books. I really enjoy listening to the narrator. She brings life to the book. Her way of expressing the voices gives them real and raw emotions. Its amazing how the voice of the animals make them become real and with almost real human emotions. I have enjoyed the whole series. If you started the series..you want to read this to continue on.. if you haven't read the series, the actions and storyline does allow it to be done alone.. I personally preferred the whole storyline in order.

loved it

I've never read this series before, or even heard of it, and it took me a while to get into it. but by the end of the third book in the series I was hooked, with the fourth I was enthralled, and this one managed to raise my opinion even higher still. I already have the last book downloaded and ready, and I cant wait to see how all of these characters and stories are woven together.

Much love for Kate Forsyth

I adore this series and the series Rhiannon's Ride by Kate Forsyth! I own all the books already but couldn't resist the audiobooks, especially when the narrator is spot on with the voice I had in my head.

Fingers crossed the sequel trilogy joins the party.
