Publisher's Summary

The Stone Sky: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*

Humanity will finally be saved or destroyed in the shattering conclusion to the post-apocalyptic and highly acclaimed NYT best-selling trilogy that won the Hugo Award three years in a row.

The moon will soon return. Whether this heralds the destruction of humankind or something worse will depend on two women.

Essun has inherited the power of Alabaster Tenring. With it, she hopes to find her daughter, Nassun, and forge a world in which every orogene child can grow up safe.
For Nassun, her mother's mastery of the Obelisk Gate comes too late. She has seen the evil of the world and accepted what her mother will not admit: that sometimes what is corrupt cannot be cleansed, only destroyed.

This is the way the world ends...for the last time.

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Magnificent

I was a bit apprehensive about this version but the music does mesh beautifully with the story. But it might not be evweryones's cup of tea.

Beautiful ending!

Loved how the ending made the framing of the whole story become so natural. Would love to listen again.

Outstanding!!!

This review is for the whole series:
While reading this series you definitely need to focus or you will get lost... But it is one you will not regret picking up.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Fifth Season - After feeling lost for at least the first 1/3rd of the book, I had to give it 5stars. As I was approaching the end I was totally surprised and that was when everything really made sense. The ending was absolutely enthralling.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Obelisk Gate - Dragged on a little, but continued to keep you engaged.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Stone Sky - The beginning of this book had me unsure of where I was going to land on the scale of enjoyment. It was a little twisty, similar to book 1, but what a phenomenal way to end a story.

Great ending of the series

Great performance from the narrator, and a great ending, loved this series. My only minor complain is that the background music is a bit to loud at some points and almost disturbs the story telling.

I loved this series.
A must read but, I warn you these books are layered and need your attention to avoid confusion.
