One of her best amd perfect narration

Mostly I love how this book gave me anxiety waiting for the confrontation. The twist was good but it really is about the journey and emotion along the way

Meh

This one was okay. I usually like this author’s work. This story was pretty predictable for me. I sped up the narration because the whispering style performance bugged me.

Not a big win from me.

Enjoyable and easy to follow

Overall I liked this book. At times I found the naivete of both Abby and Sam exasperating and unrealistic though.
Without giving away any of the plot, I think that some of the characters, like Abby's boss, seem like caricatures through some of the story. What distinguishes this author from others is the ability to jar us with the unexpected. Sometimes it's a person or something hidden...
Also the narrator's performance was great!

Ok; weird narration

Story is slow in the beginning and doesn’t pick up until chapter 5. The narrator’s voice is between a normal tone and a whisper; it was hard to get used to it. She also keeps her voice at the same sound level…in some parts she should have been louder due to threats/excitement in the story (the character would have been yelling) but the narrator never gets louder. After hearing the voice she uses for the main character for 7 hours, she completely changes it in the epilogue. What…

Solid book

The story was a typical McFadden plot plenty of twists and turns the main character slow to catch on to what’s going on. I didn’t love the narrator but was easy to listen to.

Entertaining

This book reminds me of a Lifetime movie. If you happened to have an extra credit or 2 I'd say give it a listen. Fairly predictable but entertaining none the less
