Take me there
The beautifully drawn locale sucked me in more than the characters. I found myself planning a vacation to Charlston, wishing I could inhabit the old mansion and smell the sweetgrass. This is a great book for taking a virtual trip and steeping your senses in the coastal south. I was grateful for the dual narrators. The variation really have life to the two main characters.

Sisters- a little piece of heaven and hell
What did you love best about The Time Between?
This is a great story with an even greater mystery. The story line between two sets of sisters sets the tone of the story with a little hint of love story in the background. I love the development of the character, but missed the deeper development of the history of WWII and what could have been written in a bit more detail.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
All three narrators did an outstanding job!!
Any additional comments?
Worth a credit, you will be transported into different worlds and enjoy really good writing.

Sing Song Narration
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I have only gotten 4 chapters in and I am returning this book. The story sounds like it has potential but I really cannot get past the narrators cloying sing-song delivery. It is so distracting and annoying...I just cant.

A Sister's Story - Secrets in a Basket
The readers are wonderful, make the story come alive. This is a story mostly for women with sisters, but anyone could enjoy it. It's long, but kept my interest all the way, waiting for the secrets to be revealed. Karen White a good writer, but this is my first book by her.

A little sappy
What did you like best about The Time Between? What did you like least?
It was a great story but sometimes I felt like I was reading a Lifetime Movie. I really alternated between liking it very much to being annoyed by how syrupy sweet it was. I didn't really dislike it....
What aspect of the narrators’s performance would you have changed?
I didn't like the pressured speech of Eve. The other two were fine, though sometimes a little slow and drawn out.
