Publisher's Summary

Who wants to take a road trip with two old, bickering women and a complete stranger? Not Jill Savoy. She finds herself behind the wheel of her father's sacred Winnebago anyway, responsible for her grandmother and adopted aunt, both of whom are mischievous teenagers in old bodies, and then there's Shay.

The last thing on Shay Macaluso's mind was a vacation. Fresh out of a relationship, she was looking forward to beginning her new life, but her aunt Chloe took the proverbial monkey wrench to her plans. Duped into taking the trip, Shay feels like her new life is on hold, but as the adventure unfolds she realizes that she's on the highway to something extraordinary.

Classic Alexander

Exactly what you expect from a Robin Alexander title. Funny and enjoyable plot with strong yet strange older women as side characters. You definitely want to listen, despite my narrator quibbles.
As anyone who is reading this probably knows, Craden is an amazing narrator. This wasn't her moment to shine though. Comedy is not really her milieu, not in the way it's Prince's-who usually does the Robin Alexander books. Additionally...something changed about the way she narrated the two MCs about halfway through the book. I stopped immediately recognizing the characters, and it was a bit discombobulating. Since I listened to the whole thing in one go the day it was released, it was particularly pronounced for me.

Love ❤️

What a great book Robin Alexander never lets me down. Especially with Abby Craden narrating. My mom passed in 2020 and this book so reminds me of her and I. Thank you brought back so many wonderful memories ❤️

LOL

I simply cannot remember the last time that I laughed so much. Abby Craden brings Robin Alexander's story and humor to life! It's a great story with consistent one-liners that make the characters so real.

Road Trip

Jill Savoy has no desire to drive her grandmother and adopted aunt on a two week trip in her dad’s sacred Winnebago , Sally. Shay Macaluso has just broken up with her girlfriend and moved in with her aunt Chole while looking for a job. Forced together on a road trip Jill and Shay do not connect at all. A matchmaking trip may end in war or not. Fun and romantic.

Loved it!

You can't go wrong with Robin Alexander and the legend, Abby Craden. RA always writes witty dialogue and loves to add in semi-disfunctional family members who are so funny and real. The romance has a slow build which is nice. This audiobook, the Trip, gave me happy flashbacks to the first Robin Alexander book I ever laid my ears on, JUST JORIE! I absolutely adore Just Jorie! The 2 main ladies in that book were strangers who end up driving together and The TRIP had 2 strangers with 2 older women/grandmother all in a winnebago which was so funny. Abby Craden did such a wonderful job with all the different voices and delivered all the funny lines perfectly. Wish this book was longer, because I miss all of the characters already.

Hilarious!

That was so funny and cute, I would actually suffer through Prince’s narration to hear other stories by this author.

Robin as done it again. Brilliant.

Another Robin Alexander masterpiece. I was crying laughing and loved every character. Imagine taking a trip with progessive olderly ladies that have z dry wit & never get boring. The only negative is having to wait for Robins next book. If you want a fun very low angst book, you can't go wrong with this book. I hope Audible put all of Robin Alexander pas book onto Audiobook.

hilarious

while this is a low angst romance, the comedic duo of Anna and Ella steal the show, I had family rushing into my room checking I was ok the hilarious antics and words making me laugh so much, great writing and I'd love them to have a book of thier own plus chloe, abby craden gives an excellent performance outside her usual work with 4 or more characters talking almost at once, thankyou Robin really enjoyed.

In a word, hilarious. Haven’t laughed so much in ages. Great characters, great story. Love Robin Alexander’s books and this is no exception. Abby Craden does a great job narrating.
