Publisher's Summary

Right now, Truth is under attack, and much is at stake. Christians are caught in the crossfire of alternative Christian histories, emerging faulty texts, and a cultural push to eliminate absolute Truth altogether. As a result, many churches and Christians have been deceived. Worse still, they propagate the deception that poses itself as Truth!

In The Truth War, John MacArthur reclaims the unwavering certainty of God's Truth and anchors Christians in the eternal, immovable promises that are found in His Word.

Pure Truth Necessary For the Times

Once again, John MacArthur gives the biblical truth without compromise. I greatly appreciate how this book points out the importance of remaining true to the biblical faith in a time where many are seeking what feels good instead of embracing the cross of Christ. We have a choice to die to self and live to Christ, or live to self and accept our own version of a false gospel.....whatever form that may take. I pray that many will rise up with John MacArthur and confront our present age with the sound gospel; the only gospel that will save.

Audio version versus physical book!

First off this was a great book!!! Brilliantly written and read my only gripe is that the audio version does not follow along with the physical book directly the audio version bounces around throughout different parts of each chapter.

Truth!

this is a necessary message that exposes the reality of the church as well as the state of this world and a call to fight for truth in a biblically guided fashion. I would recommend this book for anyone that is a believer especially those who attend church.

Great audio

I think the author was the narrator for this one; it had zero issues in regards to sound quality and I had no problem listening whatsoever. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants more insight on “testing the spirits”.

Inspired me to stand for the truth of THE faith!

Really good book! And especially loved that it's read by JMac. Emphasised the importance of biblical truth and standing firm on it, and expose post modernism in the emergent church.
