Publisher's Summary

A great danger has arisen in the north of the realm. Soldiers and Magi cannot defeat it. Will the Snow Panthers be able to?

While Lasgol and his comrades carry out their duties as Rangers, a shadowy danger gathers strength in the Frozen Territories and threatens the kingdom. Thoran sends his Ice Magi and his armies to fight against it.

The Snow Panthers are summoned to carry out a risky and complicated mission to obtain an object of power that will help destroy the evil that is on its way across the northern mountains to the capital. This is not the only danger our friends will have to face, since the Dark Rangers and the Zangrians continue to pose an ever-present threat, both to the realm and the Panthers.

Will they manage to secure the precious magical object they seek? Will the kingdom survive the evil that's on its way from the north, as well as the Dark Rangers and the Zangrians? Will Lasgol and his friends survive?

Great clean series for males

This series is a joy. The story is compelling; the characters are enjoyable and well developed; and it’s not trashy! Excellent for young males, which is hard to find. However, I’m a 50 year old woman and am thoroughly enjoying it. Planning to listen to it with my daughter while traveling.

Vigor would be a better main character

Excuse me if I spell names wrong. I like the overall story, and I enjoy coming to age stories. But, I feel like vigor and eggal are the only ones that grow.

Lasgul is still naive, unconfident, and soft. There seem to be a lot of miss opportunities for him to pursue strength. His magic is unreliable, and imagine him without camou or His panther. ghurt Engered and Isma All improve in skills but have very dumb repetitive personalities.
Ashtred, who's fine and ready to be a cold-blooded killer, even if the job requirements might mean she'd have to kill innocent people, fall in love with a guy who prefers not to kill. Their relationship has never made any sense, ideals wise, and seems to be all about looks and comes off cheesy. their relationship or lasgul thinking about her really take me out of the story, Sighing (mood killer)

Path of the Ranger has quickly become a favorite.

I fell in love with the setting and lore of this series, the characters grow on you and Camu and Onna are the best pair. The only complaints I have are the slow character growth over 5+ years so far with the core characters, the immediate repulsive attitudes about magic and those with magic (even though they consider Lasgol and Camu as family) have become so annoying that I don't look forward to scenes with two certain Snow Panthers. Also Ingrid needs to give Viggo a break for real...

I hope that the characters actually grow and the experiences they go through start to show with the changes in personality that normally happen after new experiences and lessons learned.

Seriously... it's gets tiresome to hear "oh no filthy magic" with automatic anger and no reasoning or "oh no, magic makes me so scared and whiney"... come on Pedro Urvi.

Finally Feels Like An Adventure Again!!!

The best thing about stories concerning Rangers us the sense of adventure. War arcs are all well and good, but people with trick bow skills are rarely at their best in large scale conflict aside from certain phases of it. This book is the first in awhile that has the Rangers doing what they are best at, going on adventures that ordinary soldiers don't specialize in. It is what drew me to the series to begin with and is why I stay. Hope the trend continues!!!

I am really trying

I really like this series but...I can't handle how rude Ingrid is to Vigo, it is very juvenile. I can only handle so much! In every book Ingrid has nothing to say positive about Vigo.

if that is her teammate she can be more polite instead of wanting to fight him and rude comments.

This RUINED the book that I can no longer listen to the series.

bummer

Enjoyable.

Another very enjoyable episode in this particular saga. This is enhanced by a very good narrator, who manages to give " life " to the whole book.

Fantastic !!!

This series really is fantastic!!! You feel like you are in the story with the characters. Every character truly does have their own personality and it’s reflected really well by the narrator. You won’t be disappointed!
