Story
It comes as no real surprise that so many people find retirement planning a daunting process. If you’re one of those people, this audiobook is for you. It doesn’t matter if you are 18 or 35; the time to start retirement planning (and saving) is now. If you think you’re too late, you’ll be even later if you let it wait a moment a longer. If you believe you are too early, you’re absolutely wrong. Life has a way of sweeping by, and before you know it, you will be looking around for a financial support system that simply isn’t there, if you fail to plan, that is.

Today people worry that they're going to run out of money in their older age. That won't happen if you use a few tricks for squeezing higher payments from your assets - from your Social Security account (find the hidden values there), pension (monthly income or lump sum?), home equity (sell and invest the proceeds or take a reverse mortgage?), savings (should you buy a lifetime annuity?), and retirement accounts (how to invest and - critically - how much to withdraw from your savings each year).

Lots of actually good info in this book but man her speech pattern and voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. She talks to her audience like they’re all stupid and she’s talking to the peasants. If you want to retire before 70, find another book
if you are planning to retire before the age of 70 you would be better off finding another book or resource. It was repeated numerous times in this book that you need to work until your age 70. I work in a very physical field while making good money, but my body will not handle working until age 70. I was hoping to get some good advice on how to retire at 60 but it certainly wasn't in this book.
