Tantor Audio presents Books 1-3 in USA Today bestselling author Nancy Warren's Vampire Knitting Club series.

Lucy inherits an Oxford knitting shop...and so much more....

Like the vampires who live downstairs and pop up to the shop when they run out of wool, or for their late-night knitting club. They've even offered to help Lucy learn how to knit. She discovers she's a witch and has some quirky relatives she never knew about. Her grandmother's supposed to be dead, but keeps showing up. It's enough to send Lucy screaming back to Boston, except there's a mystery to solve and Oxford and her new vampire friends are kind of growing on her....

Amazing Series

I've been binge-listening this series and am currently on Book 7. Even with the best cozy series, things can get repetitive after awhile but I am so impressed with the original and interesting plot line of each book in this series. The main character is intelligent, funny and relatable. I appreciate that she is a young woman (in her 20's) yet she doesn't have the constant low self-esteem or self-doubts that plague too many protagonists in cozy mysteries. I liked this author's Great Witches Baking Show series and decided to give this one a try and I am so happy I did. This one is even better, with a rich cast of characters and truly excellent narration.

simply lovely and fun!

I just started knitting my first sweater and was on the hunt for a relatable, cute murder mystery when I stumbled across this gem!

the characters are perfectly written and there is a calming presence with the narration!

each book was fantastic in its own way and even I was stumped on who the killer was haha.

the knitting, wool, and terminology I loved so much as I was working with my Wools and just loving what the vampires kept making Lucy, the main character haha their personalities are adorable and you just can't help but love the main characters!

I purchased the next books 4-6 and I'll be starting those now while I continue knitting my sweater. can't wait to listen to more of these books!

Vampires & Witches that Knit?!!

This is my first book to read by Nancy Warren. The book is about a relatable modern woman in her 20's who discovers she is a witch. Around this same time, our heroine meets vampires who are connected to her grandmother's knitting shop. The characters are introduced in this first book and charm their way into your heart. I read this book as part of a boxed set of 3 in the series and recommend that you do the same. Each story is a stand-alone, but they build on each other nicely when read in order within the series. I do not knit and enjoy the fact that Lucy does not find knitting enjoyable either. As she warms up to knitting, she finds a wonderful paranormal world of modern day vampires that help her solve mysteries that inexplicable seem to happen around her. As she navigates her normal and secret paranormal worlds, you find moments of humor mixed with insights that ultimately weave together to solve the mystery at hand. It is hard to put this cozy mystery book down so I find myself listening to the first book and then going right into the second one and so on. The stories are entertaining and will help lighten the mood. I listen to the Vampire Knitting Club audio books when I paint, run errands, work around the house, or just want an escape. The performer sounds slightly more mature than a girl in her 20s, but her skills in accents and how to capture the mood of the characters is remarkable. I look forward to finishing this series and starting a new one.

Fun series narrated WELL

Excellent narration. Fun storyline that isn't trying too hard. So many series start waning after a couple books. Each book has been interesting and fun. Already started book 4

Love Love Love...

I really enjoyed this series. I'm an avid knitter and love paranormal cozies. I listen to books while I'm knitting so I felt right at home with the Vampire knitting club. A yarn shop in Oxford is a great combination for an old and young romance between a Vampire and witch.

No romance, but touched on things to come. Lots of mystery and murder with vampires, demons, witches and humans.

Good in parts…..

I like the story, it’s very ‘American in Oxford’ of course but not to be despised because of that. However the narrator, charming though she is, needs to be careful. A fluent person may talk nicely but I think she meant affluent! And I’m not sure where War - wick is. A little hint, it’s pronounced Warick

Definitely judge this book by its cover

If you want a book to soothe your soul this could be for you. This is a cozy mystery with a paranormal edge, and let’s not forget a whole lot of knitting. I’ve been listening to these stories none stop and crocheting at the same time, it’s exactly what I needed. The performance by Sarah Zimmerman is wonderful, her Australian accent goes to a few other continents but she really performs the characters that brings life into the story. I’m now on book 5, I’m completely hooked (little bit of crochet humour there). I’ve recommended this to mul

Like a Warm, Soft, Nitted Blanket ❤

This is not my first listen to this series and it is a comfortable one. The stories are good although sometimes the tiniest bit seen before. But the characters are genuinely likeable and I can't help but invest in their well-being. Although there is definite drama and an element of murder and chaos, it is never something a freshly brewed pot of tea won't cure. I love it ❤

The narrator does an excellent job at distinguishing between the different characters and her voice is really pleasant to listen to.

sweet whimsical silly and addictive

honestly didn't know if these books wld be my thing, but 5 mins in I was chuckling and a convert. absolutely loved this new series. I found it easy to guess early on "who dunnit" but the world and character development is delightful. if you are on the fence with getting this book I encourage you to given them a ho. only criticism is the American narrator struggles a bit with English and Australian accents but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I love her narraton of main character Lucy. it's crazy but the author makes me believe in Vampires who knit!
