All "Beef" Be Gone!

This is a great book which successfully argues the case for Veganism and wins it hands down. The author of the book Lyanna K. Peterson with the wonderful narration of Yu-Li Alice Shen, takes us to the origins of Veganism. From its humble beginnings when the Vegan moment had to struggle for survival and fast forward to the present where now Veganism has become a popular alternative food choice. People and Governments all over the world are [slowly] realizing the benefits the Vegan diet has for humans, animals and mainly to our planet Earth, over the other diets. Not There Yet, But Getting There!

What I loved about the book is:-
- It puts forward some very unique points in favor of Veganism,
- It debunks ALL of the baseless arguments raised against it,
- It shows how Veganism helps the Environment,
- Last but not the least, No Animals are hurt to make Vegan products.

Excellent

I became a Vegan 5 years age when I found out about the Forks over Knives movement. I had
many medical problems which had me on lots of medications. Read this little book and followed its advise. YOUR ARE WHAT YOU EAT. I am now off all my medication and feeling great. I do have a doctor who helps me monitor my health. All it took was changing my eating habits. This book will tell you everything you need to know when someone ask you why you became vegan. It's almost too easy to be true. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Cheers

Super helpful!!

I've been debating whether or not to go vegan for years. I knew after listening to this book that veganism was the right choice for me, and I am so pleased! This book is extremely thorough and answers any question you might have, or in my case, every excuse I could think of. I intend to recommend this book to all of my friends.

Excellent Book!

This book really makes you think and I've learned quite a bit as well. I loved it and the author did an excellent job of this subject. I'm looking forward to hearing more of her books.

I would recommend this book to anyone thinking of being a Vegan or even a person not thinking of becoming a vegan. You will learn so much from this book and it might change your mind about your beliefs. Excellent book!

Interesting guide that helps your argument

After listening to this audiobook you will feel confident about your decision to eat vegan (or less meat). It goes beyond that and reminds you of athletes that have successfully broken records or competed while following a vegan diet. Ultimately, if you're looking for a book that will help connect you with all the reasons eating a vegan diet is helpful for yourself and the planet, this is your book!

A must listen to

I was hesitant listening to this book as I am one who hides my head when it comes to the animal food industry. I must say that I am glad I listened to this book. So many topics covered and myths debunked with reasoning. I have been wanting to change over to vegan but was worried I wouldn’t stick with it. After listening to this book I have a greater understanding of why I would want to begin to change my lifestyle and stick to it. This book is a great book for anyone looking for more understanding of the vegan life

Inspiring and Insightful

I'm not vegan, but I have been trying to cut down my meat consumption for environmental and health reasons.
This book gave me a lot of additional motivation to continue down this path, especially the sections on the dairy industry. After listening to the author's arguments, I'm now certain I've made the right decision and might try convincing some of my friends and family to go along with me.
Intelligent, well-researched, and easy to follow, I would recommend this book to anyone considering veganism .

For the reader to decide.

I was taken back by this book for it describes on how to win an argument over someone's personal choice. The book depicts ways on how to win these arguments with a logic that is seen as positive thinking of saving the planet and morales of not killing am animals.

Fantastic!

This book title intrigued me! I never realized before how people who choose to adopt veganism are on constant alert to defend their decision. The book immediately drew me in as it started out as a very real-life situation. From there the author discusses what veganism is all about. I found the fourth chapter to be very thought-provoking and contained clear and concise ways to help others understand why vegans have chosen this lifestyle. If you're a vegan who feels you need an answer to non-vegans questions or comments, I recommend this book to prepare yourself for such discussions!

Ammo for Vegans!

This book was the perfect choice for me, and I'm so excited! It answered every question, or in my case, excuses that you could ever think of. I will share it with all my friends who are also on the fence about going vegan. The next time I'm out with friends, they ask, "So why aren't you eating meat again?" I can answer them more confidently now. Thank you for this audiobook! Finally, I've some ammo - thanks a lot ;)

Pretty good, but by no means flawless

All in all, it's good, and I agree with most points. But certain points were absolutely stretches, and would be hard to take seriously. But that's maybe 1/10 points I feel that about, otherwise it's good.

I'm not a fan of the mastering, though. There's clear hissing in the quiet parts of the reading, and the performance often felt monotone and robotic, especially when listing things.

But it's pretty short and it succeeds in doing what it tried to do, so I consider it worth reading.

Everyone should listen to this book

This was so helpful. Being vegan, you covered every question that people ask with a great answer. I also loved the ideas of how to talk to non vegans. Wonderfully helpful, clear and said in a kind way.

Understanding Vegans

As someone brought on a farm many years ago and still has family running dairy farms. Got this to see what veganism is all about, do have a few vegan friends but what better way to learn than getting a copy of this book.

It has many valid points to going vegan and does a great job of clarifying a lot of points for me. So if you are thinking of turning vegan I would highly recommend you give this a read. Full marks for the narration too.

Helpful Vegan Guide

I started eating vegan over three years ago and it can be a sticky conversation when talking to strangers or even friends about it.

I Highly recommend this book

It's definitely a book that any vegan, or especially for those who just want to start veganism, should listen to. Because not only does it teach what it really means to become a vegan and how mindset can be transformative in such a straightforward manner. The narrator also does a very good job explaining the materials in such an engaging manner, so you can also really enjoy listening to it. Not only is the information interesting and detailed, but it is also extremely well narrated. This is a book that I definitely recommend.

Educative

The audible " The Vegan "Beef Guide" I found to be very educative. Choosing to go Vegan can come with so much resistance from family and friends. This book provided a very useful but powerful guide on how to educate others on the Vegan lifestyle. All Vegan need to listen to this audible.

The Vegan Beef Guide. A Book That Says It All..

This is a very unique and pleasant book. There is a kind of invisible war going on between people who eat plant-based foods and your die-hard meat-eaters. Both think they are right, however, sometimes you have to look at the facts. I'm not a vegan but I am vegetarian. Around 4 years ago I was a meat-eater, I would eat bacon and sausage for breakfast and on a check-up at a doctor's, the Dr told me that I had very high Cholesterol. He was going to prescribe Statins. I asked him if it would be OK if I changed my diet first. I only did one thing, I gave up meat. 1yr later I took a blood test at the same doctor's, my cholesterol was normal.
You see, I think we've all been fed (pardon the pun), a big fat lie. We eat meat because we want to, not because we have to, in fact, for some people, eating it is making them ill. Many people are suffering high blood pressure and heart attacks because of their diet. This is a very good book, it explains everything you need to know about Veganism, I think you will love it. 5 Stars..

Very Informative!

I stumbled across this audiobook while browsing and sounded really interesting. I'm not vegan myself, but have been trying to live more healthy and environmentally friendly. This book makes some very good points and has convinced me to giving veganism a try.

This is a fantastic resource!

The author goes into great detail on the facts. This book presents some compelling reasons for veganism. If you're thinking about becoming a vegan, this book can help. When it comes to our food system, I discovered a lot of new stuff that I didn't know before. This isn't simply a book about winning debates; it's also a story about veganism and why people choose to live this way. This book gives the scientific information to support your decision to be a vegan or to consider becoming one. It also contains information on nutrition as well as environmental concerns. Because of the excellent narration, it is simple to follow. If you want to learn more about veganism, this audiobook is a great place to start.

Insightful!

A brilliant defence of the vegan! I have purposefully stayed away from meat for a number of years now, and, to be fair, very rarely enter conversations around the whys and actively avoid arguments. I have, however witnessed many of my Vegan friends being exposed to anything short of abuse when they disclose they are passionately vegan. Therefore I’m very glad I got this book, it helped me understand a lot from a vegan point of view and uncover some of the very uncomfortable truth about meat eating. It was quite a revelation! I’m even more keen on becoming fully vegan now and clearly understand the frustration of the many vegans out there even more. Moreover, I’m now very well equipped to stand up for them when I need to!

Great book, well thought out and nicely narrated!
