Publisher's Summary

When Sarah Cole finds herself in Chicago with two months to kill before her New York promotion goes through, she decides it's time to take care of a few things - like the inconvenient issue of her virginity. Sarah knows the right guy for the job, too: Max, the notorious ladies' man she's been crushing on since college.

Max Brandt is all for a fling, just not with Sarah. She's way too good for him. He walked away from her once, but it wasn't easy.

Things are different now, and the plan is so simple. There's no way either of them would do something as silly as fall in love....

Figure it out already and move forward!

It was painful listening to the relationship between Max and Sarah. The story would be a good one but the characters were just stuck in persistant angst with no movement for the majority of this story. if you fast forward through the BS then you will get the goody out of it and save yourself some torture from the blind stupidity that will have you frustrated.

Ugh! The H!!

The first half of the story is entertaining but the second half had me vocally shouting out my frustration (I listen when running at night).

The h and some of the characters believe that manipulation is a proper way to get things done. The H... How stupid can one person be. How he responds after his pursuit of the h was nothing short of idiotic. This relationship appears to be doomed to fail.

HFN - barely!

Do yourself a favor...

This was an all around great purchase. I loved the first book in this series, and this second book did not disappoint. Love the characters and the story. The narrators were fun to listen to and just added to my overall love of this book. This is a story you will want to listen to more than once. Can't wait for the third book!

Sometimes your past has a lot of baggage.

Max and Sarah were meant for each other back in college, life had other plans and so does stubborn personal baggage.

good book... title didn't really match

(Max & Sarah): while I'm not sure about the title because there weren't many weddings in the book and it wasn't really the focus or the center of the story, I did end up really enjoying the book. Sarah is a 28 year old virgin and there's one person that she wanted to take it. Max, her old friend from school. What I liked about this story is that it's a second chance romance. The characters are best friends and you can tell just how close they are, under the surface though you can feel that crackle of lightning between them. They make a deal to take her virginity while she's in town for the summer. The book is funny, sexy and tear jerking. It was a really good read.

SIGNIFICANTLY Better thank the first book

Ok. I get the writers “feel” Angsty. Super extra smack you over the head Angsty is the way here. Though for some reason I enjoyed these characters better. Overall decent. Still a bit long. But way better.

nice read

it was a good read with a pretty predictable story. sweet...just a little too sappy. don't expect any wild sex scenes, but there is a lot of implication. my mom would like the sweetness...she's 78.

Lost interest

It's an okay read if you just need something to pass the time. Not a real barn burner, though. I lost interest real fast, didn't finish it. BUT it's great to put on at bedtime with a 15 minute timer, put me right to sleep every time.

Totally YA

The book was a rollercoaster of young adults emotions. It was so well written with interesting surprises … the date thing was beautiful… brought lots of nostalgic moments .
I’ll probably listen to this again .

Slow build

This storyline took a lot longer to catch my interest. I enjoyed the performances by the narrators.
