Oh, Melissa Foster, what are you doing to me? The Wicked Aftermath was sweet, funny and heartbreaking. I loved Tank and Leah's story. Junie and Rosie were adorable and Tank... OMG Tank!!! I love that he appears to be this gruff, tough biker but with Leah and the girls he's sweet, sensitive and everything they need. I loved the touch out the mystic, the love and support of the Wicked's and the Dark Knights and the sweetness of this story. Melissa Foster rips out your heart and sews it back together again with family, friends and unconditional love and support.

Emotional Roller Coaster

"I don't have all of the answers, or know what it all means, but I don't want to ignore something that feels so big and right."

Tank and Leah are both grieving from accidents that happened in their lives. Leah is trying to make it through each day without breaking apart for her and her girl's sake. Tank is determined to make sure that they do not fall into the darkness of grief. Tank and Leah may be a shining light for each other.

After reading The Wicked Aftermath and experiencing the roller coaster ride of emotions this story takes you through, I did not think the story could get any better. I was wrong. The audiobook is so much more. There are so many emotions that you will experience with this story.

Lance Greenfield and Jennifer Mack paint such a vivid picture with their narration that makes you feel like you are in the story with Tank and Leah.

The Wicked Aftermath is a MUST read and/or listen, a tissues needed story, and my Top Book of 2021!

Still love this book.

I lived this story when I read it and I love it even more in audio. I loved the dual narration and the kids voices were amazing. Also the narrators were amazing. I can't wait to listen to more of Melissa's books.

Great Story with OK Narration

Story: 4 stars
Audio performance: 3.5 stars (Female 5 stars/Male 3 stars)
Overall: I have to go with 4 stars because the so-so male narration kind of wrecked it for me)

Having met Tank in the previous Wicked book, I was overly anxious to get his story! The beginning of the story had me absolutely focused but it tapered off in the middle for me, picking back up at the very end. The story seems to have two climax points, one in the beginning and another toward the end, and it worked well. Tank and Leah endured a horrific tragedy that brought them together and they have great chemistry.

The two little girls were absolutely adorable and the female narrator did an outstanding job with their characters! I struggled with the male narrator. His voice just didn't feel gruff enough for the Tank Wicked we met in the previous book and he read with unnecessary urgency that got irritating after two chapters and had me eye rolling quite a bit. There's no need to read a basic sentence and make it sound like there's an emergency, sheesh. But again, the female narrator nailed every part.

The heat between Tank and Leah was combustible and Tank's live for the girls and Leah was heart warming. I didn't get teary eyed or need tissues like everyone else suggested (maybe it was audio vs reading). I loved all the family interactions with the siblings and parents, it really makes the story come alive and feel real.

I Love the book

Loved the book and the female narrator was awesome, especially during the 'heated' scenes. However, the male narrator sounded like he was reading a textbook, then he sounded mean in tender moments. That was the only disappointing part.

Out of tragedy they found love. Leah and Tank both lost siblings who were dear to their hearts. Leah has two little girls who both shine in this story. Tank becomes attached to them being overprotected to Leah and her girls.
Family is important to Tank. Leah is overwhelmed by how his family and friends embraces them and includes them in their lives. Tissues are needed for this emotional story of grief and love.

Tank and Leah

udiobook Review: I have fallen in love with the dual narrator format that Melissa Foster uses in most of her audiobooks. I love hearing the female narrator primarily tell the female characters perspective and the male narrator tell the male characters. The narrators for Melissa’s books are also good at portraying the opposite sex. Many times, the stories overlap, and the narrator easily becomes whichever character they need to be. This is a big talent, and I am so thankful that both Aiden Snow and Jennifer Mack can switch back and forth without missing a beat. The cadence of the voices and the emotion they share in their voices pulled me right into Wicked Aftermath bringing the characters to life.



eBook Review: This book will rip your heart out in chapter two and the slowly put it back together with a 2 step forward 1 step back setup. There is death, friendship, family, and love along with a couple triggers that some people may not like to read about. I never thought about stopping reading since I knew that Melissa Foster would not leave me hurting, she would put it all together and make it be okay.

The Wicked Aftermath is part of the Wicked: Dark Knights series and I knew that Tank had a history that would tear most men apart. Luckily, Tank is not just any man. He is a man with strength, a heart, and honor. When Leah is trying to keep her life together, he steps in, going above and beyond to help her find her way. Tank can be scary and intimidating but his teddy bear side shined through with Leah and her girls.


I am so thrilled with this entire book. I loved that it was not all romance and mushy. It was tough, it was hard, but it was true love, soul mates, together forever. The Wicked Family never breaks a promise and Tank is pure proof of this statement.

Amazing story

The Wicked Aftermath by Melissa Foster was simply amazing and beautifully written and narrated. It was emotional, gut wrenching and so full of love that I devoured it.

Loved it!

Melissa can pull on your heartstrings with her stories.
Tank was a gentle giant. He owned a tattoo parlor and his parents owned a bar. The Dark Knights, a motorcycle club, helped everyone that needed it. Tank was a big part in the club. Leah worked for his parents waiting tables. She found out how kind Tank was when her brother died. Sexual tension ignited between them and it was hot.
Jennifer Mack and Lance Greenfield are master narrators. They kept a smile on my face. I especially loved the voices of the little girls. It was narrated with excellent emotional vibes.
