Publisher's Summary

The complete dark romance trilogy from S. Massery.

Revenge is wicked - but I’m worse.

As a kid, Margo crushed our dreams to dust. We were best friends until she tore our families apart with one confession. Now that she’s back as the new girl in school, she doesn’t seem to suspect the war that’s coming - or the anger I’ve been harboring.

She’s the prey, and I’m her perfect predator.

But suddenly there’s a new game to play, and the stakes are even higher.

Betrayal.

Lies.

A devastating cover up.

The secrets locked in Margo’s head are enough to destroy us.

The truth is supposed to set us free - but we aren’t destined for freedom. This bundle is a complete bully romance story with an HEA. It contains the following titles:

  1. Wicked Dreams
  2. Wicked Games
  3. Wicked Promises

Due to the dark content, listener discretion is advised. Contains enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes.

I Loved books 2 & 3.

Let me say I am a senior citizen. I absolutely didn’t like book 1 and considered not listening any farther. Chalking it up as a loss and just going on to another book. Only Troy Duran brought me back. I guess I don’t like HS Bully romances. The overuse of the term “Sheep” had me wanting to quit the books. I actually listened to another book while I pondered finishing this book.
Thank you Troy Duran for making me listen to the rest of the book(s). Book 2 it mostly switches from the HS to other areas. I honestly thought I’d be giving this book a one stars review on Overall and Story (with 5 stars for performance).
If you like HS Bully romances you should definitely get this book. If you don’t you may want to still consider it and just through book 1 know it does get better. So Four overall Stars on this one for reasons stated.

Mostly sex, little substance

Narration:
Both narrators did a great job. No complaints. Listened at 1.5 speed.

Story:
I wanted to like this series, but I just didn’t. I didn’t get past book 1 in the trilogy. The beginning of book 1 feels very rushed. And then when it seems like it catches up, it becomes all sex and very little content. Disappointing.

narrator's voice

the female narrator's voice and the way she speaks made this hard to finish. Very breathy and cringy. but the story line is amazing!!

Rocky then great

Book 1=monotone female narrator but overall good story line
Book2/3=so glad I stayed with it! Great story from finish to end. Always had mystery & romance around every corner. Female narrative got better and Troy Duran NEVER disappoints in his narrations!! Glad I spent a credit on this trilogy!

Crazy good!

Excellent story. Was a little irritated how the characters sometimes didn’t so obvious questions that they should have been curious about, but other than that I love it all! Characters, narrators etc.

Just OK

The story was ok. I feel like there were too many detailed sex scenes and they didn't add anything to the story. I'm also not a fan of narrators.

It's the little things

I'm in the middle of book one. so far so good...I have one thing, small detail in nature that I will forget...who in their right mind uses charcoal as a base outline for any painting?! seems silly. no offense to the writer, but they must not paint. my daughter, whom is huge in art would have given me the 'for real' look at this. ok. knit picking done!

Terrible!

Couldn't get through more than 1 hour, such a waste of time and a credit!

I liked this alright

#1 - Already reviewed.
#2 - I know I never finished this series, but it seems very familiar. 🤷‍♀️ This was a nice listen; the mystery of Margo's circumstances only raises more questions.
#3 - The romance takes a back seat to tie up all the loose ends and answer all the questions. This was a satisfactory conclusion.

Great first 3 books

I enjoyed Caleb and Margo. Margo was a little oblivious but it was good. Narrators were great!
