Wonderful for all ages!!

As always Cressida Cowell has done it again! Such a marvelous addition to a wonderful new, budding series. Full of twists and turns and fun characters and wise life lessons for all ages. I just can’t get enough of Cressida Cowell’s stories and fantastic worlds. And of course, David Tennant knocked ‪it‬ out of the park with his acting-more-than-speaking narration!! Delightful through and through!

How to Train Your Family

Cressida knows how to develop fun loving, sometimes obnoxious, characters that are relatable and worthy of our attention. David Tennant is so talented and fun to listen to that I can't imagine anyone else narrating these stories!

Good fantasy story with excellent narration

I really like this series a lot and the characters. It's interesting how it's the warriors versus the wizards kind of conflict but it's the first class narration by David Tennant for all the different characters and the action of the story that makes it fantastic.

This series and narrator are pretty much perfect

Our entire family has been enjoying these. we started listening on a long road trip last week and basically haven't wanted to turn it off since. The story and writing is fabulous and David Tennant's narration feels like a real treat - I can't imagine a better narrator. It's just so good. Well worth all the pennies.

47 and 9 year old loved it!!!

This was our first experience reading a book written by Cressida Cowell. In addition to the positive storyline and flawed characters, who improve due to the many influences of the group... we couldn't help love the audiobooks... even though the book has wonderful illustrations to encourage the reader to turn another page and read onward. Anxious for the release of book four this fall!! The high interest books can be finished in a few days... so my daughter will be pained to wait for the next book..

The Fun Continues!

I love these books so much I've listened to them multiple times. They are so much fun! David Tennant is a brilliant narrator with a wide range of voices and, of course, fantastic acting. Magic, adventure, giants, spoons, flying doors, and well written prose. This series is now one of my favorites!

Great second book

This was a great continuation of the first story. It filled in some details on secondary characters which was nice to fill out the world a bit more. Again, the narration was amazing - leaving me to say that when my children read this book I will actually have them listen!

A fun romp.

I absolutely loved the How to Train your Dragon series, I recommend it to everybody, young or old. So of course, I had to give this one a try and it is almost as good. I loved it, and I can’t wait until the next book comes out. I also love David Tennent in this series, he really enhances the listening experience. He makes the story that much more fun.
