Never saw this ending coming!!!!

Rick Mofina never fails to disappoint. This book keeps you interested and guessing right up until the end. The story begins with three teenage girls from the poor side of town. They’ve joined together in a “blood pact” to stand up strong and right any wrongs done to any of them. When a wealthy couple keeps short changing one of them on baby sitting money, the girls decide to rob their home while they go out of town for a long weekend. When the family comes back early and interrupts them, the entire family is slaughtered.
The girls were tried as minors. They received relatively light sentences because of this. Once they became adults they were released, changed their names and disappeared into the unknown.
This is an excellent suspense/thriller. I was glued. The ending is rather depressing but fitting for the character. It definitely made more of a memorable impact than a happily ever after would have.
Jennifer Jill Araya does a fantastic job narrating.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Very glad I stuck with it!

I had a very difficult time getting into THEIR LAST SECRET, but I stuck with it because Rick Mofina had never disappointed me before. This is an outstanding suspense thriller that I recommend without reservation. Narrator Jennifer Jill Araya is new to me. She does a great job.

Whoa

I was hooked almost from the beginning. The story had suspense and twists. I kept going back and forth between having it figured out and second guessing myself. The ending stunned me. I think any book that makes you want to keep listening and has you thinking about it when you’re not listening or when it’s over is worth a listen!

Skip this one!

Struggled to finish and really sorry I did. Bad, corny writing, and awful narration. I rolled my eyes and groaned way too many times.

Their Last Secret - Surprisingly a page turner

The beginning of the book had me slowly engaged, but after a few chapters in, I was hooked! If you like suspense and mystery this is a book or audio book to pick up. Grab a glass of wine or a hot beverage and cuddle up for a night in. The plot, and narrator do a good job of bringing each character to life. Looking now to see what else the author has that might interest me.

It should've been good

The author crammed 6 hours of story into 11 hours and 26 minutes. I was within 4 hours of finishing and just couldn't go any longer. The narrator was pretty good, even the story was good, but it dragged on and on until I couldn't listen to any more.
