Publisher's Summary

Thinking outside the box resulted in the best night of my life. Until I discover the man I spent it with is my new boss.

Attending a secret party where clothes are optional wasn’t a life goal of mine. But when the exclusive invitation ends up in my mailbox by accident...well. Who wouldn't be curious? It's not like I'm going to do anything. The handsome stranger I meet has different plans. One glance across the crowded party and an hour later we're stretched out on silk. Our night together is glorious. No names and no regrets. But I’d forgotten there’s always a price to pay for pleasure. I find out the cost when I start my internship. Tristan Conway, a.k.a. my handsome stranger. Powerful, determined, intriguing...and single. Oh, and he wants to see me in his office.

Good story

It started out slow and I didn't like the narrators initially, but it grew on me.

Truly predictable…almost couldn’t finish

The first chapter of this book is just a flat rip off of the Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise movie Eyes Wide Shut. Then it’s just predictable and painful. The narrator playing Tristian was REALLY hard to listen to. You can hear him straining for breath to complete sentences and his version of a “woman’s” voice is like a parody. The sex is “Eh” for a romance novel. This is 5 hours of my life

So great!

I really liked this book! I didn’t lose interest during the story, and it’s just long enough to become invested in the characters. The narrators did a great job too!

Enjoyable listen

I always like a strong woman with the boss who fell in love story and this is no other kind but the narration was done well with both narrators.

This was a fun listen

I had never listen to a book by this author before but I really enjoyed it. As well I had never heard these narrators but I thought they did a nice job and I really enjoyed the banter between the characters the character development and the reality. Men and women in the workplace face a lot of challenges and I thought this worked at a nice job of explaining elaborating and mixing it with a taste of reality. I strongly recommend this book.

Female narrator ugh

I'm trying to get into this story but I can't stand the female narrators whispering the entire time she narrates! its very annoying and really draws you out of the story. plus her tone is kind of babyish which adds another layer of annoyance. dnf😔

I absolutely loved it

The story was great and the narration was on point. This is definitely one of my favourites. I will probably listen to it again. Though I think I would have loved to see how Tristan announced their relationship and the reactions and all that jazz. But I will just imagine it in my own way I guess

Okay I guess....

story overall was okay, but. the narators loud swallowing and male's narration did not go off to well, especially the nasal operator in the lift. Other than that it was okay.

I read this before. Listening in audible was great.

This is a very touching and relatable story. Characters we can fall in love with children we adore. Well done Olivia Hayle.
