Best Podcast
TAL is the greatest podcast ever assembled. Ira Glass is an icon. I have a tattoo of their logo--that's how good it is

So much appreciation for this illuminating episode
In the book "New Kid" Jordan Banks learns that his written experience of his life should be kept in the safety of his journal because learning about his life experiences will be difficult for his teacher. He knows that what has happened to him will not matter as much as how it makes her feel to learn about it. This is a skillful episode that offers the opportunity for people to experience empathy and learn about the "other".

best writing being broadcast
No moment listening is wasted. Interesting topics are thoughtfully presented. I look forward to its release every week AND I love digging around in the back issues.

Same story different Cop.
It proves nothing changes. They still get away free. Dead kids of color, brutal behavior, explained away.

What was the point
Everyone knows the police use paid informants.
Everyone knows paid informants are low-lifes.
Everyone knows paid informant lie.
The more they lie the more they get paid.
I look forward every week to episodes of This American Life. This was a disappointment.

good
An author is the creator or originator of any written work such as a book or play, and is also considered a writer or poet. More broadly defined, an author is "the person who originated or gave existence to anything"

good episode of dealing with death and emotion
Children dealing with death of a fictional character that was very close to do of them. Revealing your personal issues with those you love. Dealing with how people make decisions be in the face of covid-19.
Good stories and rare for me to rate one if these 4 starts because almost all of them are compelling stories. Maybe this one just didn't resonate with me like the others tend to?
