Publisher's Summary

Megan Gallagher has only ever seen her mother as neurotic and overworked.

When a Whitney Houston song at the 80s dance sends Megan back to 1987, she discovers her teenage mom dressed in all black and sneaking liquor in the bathroom. After preventing her mom’s drunk car accident, Megan realizes she has one month to get her teenage parents to stop partying, and learn enough about her family's secret to get back home. Too bad the much cuter teenage version of her history teacher is such a distraction. With time running out and her future at stake, Megan must learn that, when it comes to family, you can't always get what you want, but you might just get what you need.

I hope this author writes more in this universe

I really enjoyed the universe that this author has created. There was one fairly funny mistake in the book in that the main character closes the back door of someone's Porsche when there were no Porsche's with back doors until much more recently than 1987. But that's a minor issue. As a car nut it might have made me laugh harder than many others. The story itself is a very good one, I enjoyed the concepts she introduced later in the story and it left me wanting for more. The story does wrap up, she may or may not be planning on a sequel but this does not leave you hanging as so many other books do where you are now stuck waiting on the sequel to finish the story. I really appreciate that. So Sara Crawford if you read your own reviews, please write more like this! #timetravel #timeaftertime #saracrawford
