Publisher's Summary

In a plot ripped from today's headlines, America’s elite task force must take down a group of ruthless domestic terrorists determined to paralyze the country through extreme acts of violence in this action-packed new thriller in the best-selling Tom Clancy's Op-Center series.

They are known as the Black Order. Self-proclaimed patriots and survivalists, they refuse to surrender their values and beliefs to the left-leaning cultural and progressive forces threatening their nation. Military veterans and high-tech specialists, they’ve begun a savage war which includes public assassinations of politicians and celebrities and high-profile bombings, striking without warning or mercy. The Black Order wants nothing less than complete capitulation by the US government, giving them free rein to make their ideologies the law of the land.

Only Op-Center’s Black Wasp, a skilled team of military operatives answerable to the president, can defeat these militant revolutionaries. But even as Admiral Chase Williams and his agents force them on the run, the Black Order possesses a weapon of mass destruction that they will not hesitate to unleash against millions of innocent civilians.

Disappointed

Terrible narrative. Wasted credit. Jerky and predictable. Take this book and dump. Who really wrote this?

Worst “Clancy” book ever.

There was no redeeming qualities to this book. The story was weak, the narrator is no Scott Brick and pace of book was slow.

Clancy Clones

Too many Clancy clones out and about these days, including this one. If Clancy created Mona Lisa’s, this is one of their velvet art knock offs.

decent ... not great

The story line is a good one. the performance was excellent. However some times the plot was a bit disappointing. This was worth the listen but not up to the Clancy level I normally expect.

Way too many characters! Way too many different groups!

I really, really, really, didn’t like this one. Way too many characters to keep track of, and they are in a bunch of different groups. Most the time I was lost, but I kept on listening hoping it would get better. It never did!Maybe If I have listened to other op-center tapes, it would’ve been better. But this one should not be your first adventure into op-Center. Way too many other great audiotapes listen to. Very very disappointed. Narration, was OK, but how many different voices can you do? It’s my last foray into op-center

Had me scared , story a bit hard to believe.

This was ok , a bit predictable . I was worried that you were taking Clancys work woke. It seems the writer went right up to the edge. Characters as hard as I tried to get into were unbelievable, with skill sets that are out of a comic book. Hopefully this is a fluke , and not the future of Clancys ideas.
