Publisher's Summary

Getting sucked into a video game is not as much fun as you’d think. Sure, there are jetpacks, hover tanks, and infinite lives, but what happens when the game starts to turn on you? In this best-selling series, 12-year-old Jesse Rigsby finds out just how dangerous video games - and the people making those games - can be.

With nonstop action, huge plot twists, and tons of humor, this series will quickly have your seven-to-12-year-old video game fan begging for just one more chapter.

Audiobook one: Trapped in a Video Game

Jesse hates video games - and for good reason. You see, a video game character is trying to kill him. After getting sucked into the new game Full Blast with his best friend, Eric, Jesse quickly discovers that he’s being followed by a mysterious figure. If he doesn’t figure out what’s going on fast, he’ll be trapped for good!

Audiobook two: The Invisible Invasion

Jesse’s rescue mission has led him into the world of Go Wild, a Pokemon Go-style mobile game full of hidden danger and invisible monsters. Can Jesse stay alive long enough to sneak into the shady video game company and uncover what they’re hiding?

Audiobook three: Robots Revolt

The robot villains from Super Bot World 3 have been released into the real world, and it’s up to Jesse to get them back. This is Jesse’s most dangerous mission yet, because this time, the video game is real. And in the real world, there are no extra lives.

Audiobook four: Return to Doom Island

In this retro adventure, Jesse will need to outsmart a superintelligent android, outlast a tireless drone, and outswim an eight-bit shark. If he can somehow pull all that off, Jesse will discover that he hasn’t even gotten to the scary part yet.

Audiobook five: The Final Boss

Jesse and Eric have 10 minutes to save the world. In those 10 minutes, they’re supposed to dive into a massive video game universe, track down an all-powerful madman, and stop his evil plan before it’s too late. Sound impossible? It’s super impossible. The clock is ticking.

Best narrator

My son is ADHD and has comprehension problems. He is 11. We stubbled onto audibles during the summer. I found this book while looking for something video game related books. This book was everything. First the story was amazing. It kept me entertained just as much as it did my son. It has a nice flow and we could fallow along and not get lost. It had tech talk stuff my son loved. I want to say that this narrator needs all the awards a narrator can get. He is funny and has a nice voice. He had us rolling with his fun commentary. I am a reader but have never liked audibles. Well, that has changed with this narrator. I give this book and narrator both more then 5 stars.

Amazing Deal to get all of them for a credit!

This is about a 12 year old that gets trapped in a Halo like game. These are geared to the elementary and middle grade readers. They have lots of action, humor (and potty humor too of course) and plot twists that my 11 and 15 year old boys both loved. As always, Kirby Heyborne is fantastic as the narrator, he really gets into the characters. If you're on the fence just go a head and get this one, it comes with a huge bonus off getting five books for one credit!

Too much screaming! A bit annoying.

Story was good though despite the screaming and screeching. My 11 year old son enjoyed it.

OMG!!! This was the BEST book I ever listened to!

This was an AWESOME book!

I would really recommend this book to anyone who likes video games.
It was such a great story packed with action, adventure, and mystery. With those details, ANY book could be awesome.
I had such a great time reading it to my kids, and at the start of the book, they were scared THEN...they thought it was the best too!

Thank you for such an amazingly awesome book.
