Even if she had time to date, which she doesn’t, she’d be determined to provide her son with a more secure upbringing than the one she had - and that would mean a husband with big bucks. When Jack Morrison - a sexy-as-sin, seemingly broke customer with a cowboy hat and a seductive grin - tries to flirt with her, she shoots him down.

Excellent and fitting conclusion to the series
This is the last full length book of the series and its conclusion. Bybee developed a series of romance, tension and intrigue. When you evaluate a series you want superior character development woven with interesting plot developments that link within an overall environment. The author achieves success on all accounts.
This series will appeal to romance/thriller readers of adult age. Her dialog fits nicely into the story and I enjoyed the repartee. Some of the settings and the backstory has been done and overused in many books, but that will not detract from your overall enjoyment. The narrator, Eby, does an outstanding performance.
I recommend the entire series.

Good series
Enjoyed the audiobook. I like when they have the same narrator for the whole series. My only issue was that characters in the first book that didn't have accents did at the end of the series, and characters that had accents in the sixth book didn't in the last.

best book in the series
So many times in series you can tell the author should have ended it 2 to 3 books ago. The writings appear forced and lacks the luster of the original book. This series is the exception. you can tell that the author put effort and heart into writing the final book. She did not take us readers for granted as so many of us avid readers will finish the series despite the fact that the series went south books ago. It was entertaining. The chemistry between Hunter and Gabby was delightful and the journey to love was a pleasure read. i dont normally give 5 stars. Favorite book in the series. I immediately read it again for the enjoyment.

Not my favorite...
This one wasn't one of my favorites of the series. The leading female character wasn't as believable in the choices she made. It was more like the author was making her do things outside her character in order to push the story. I won't re-read this one, but it was decent.

Romantic suspense of rich & famous ends with a bang & wedding
This story wraps up the story that began with Meg and Val. While each has its own plot it is best to read in order, especially the last two. The characters share some traits and as time progresses through the books and the characters are all friends and in several most cases one main character is a family member to an earlier introduced character. Aside from friends & family the romance is provided by an LA matchmaking service for the wealthy in search of temporary spouses and the action comes from a security firm with alpha ex-military. This groups provides the fodder for the next series. Most of the time the characters are engaging though there are some slow parts. The men are as emotionally damaged or needy as the women or at times more so. The women appear tough on the outside like the men so the characters are balanced. Tanya Eby does a good job at narration except with the inconsistency of accents which comes and goes. Siblings Gwen and Blake are supposed to be British who depend a lot of time in the states and siblings Val & Gabby are Italian Americans from New York City so only their mama should have the thick Italian accent and theirs should be NYC with maybe a little borough or NJ thrown in. The western and southern accents also were not correct. Other than that she did a reasonable job with the variety of voices though it would have added depth to have had dual narration with the addition of a man’s voice. The series is a few years old though and the spin-off series has more variety in narration. The books are currently on Kindle Unlimited so subscribers get a break on audible. Well worth the entertaining listen!

Threats from beyond the grave!
Aww, the end of the thoroughly enjoyable Weekday Brides series has arrived and I’m sad to have reached its conclusion. Each story has been amazing and I've completely fallen in love with all the characters that I’ve met along the way.
Treasured by Thursday is written almost as if it is part two of the preceding instalment, Seduced by Sunday, as poor Gabriella Masini realises that her problems did not end with her husband’s death.
When billionaire Hunter Blackwell approaches Alliance it’s with an ulterior motive. When he meets with Gabi as part of his assessment to become an Alliance client, he is stunned when this feisty woman rejects his application. Knowing that he has to do everything he can to secure a bride, and fast, he does his own background check on Gabi and finds one or two useful things hiding in Gabi’s closet. With blackmail his last resort and a large sum of money on offer, Hunter forces Gabi’s hand and she begrudgingly accepts his request and takes him on as a client, and a husband. Not wanting to ask for her family’s help to sort out her problems once again, Gabi realises that she must meet Hunter’s demands in order to find the time to discover a way out of what appears to be certain prison time for her.
With a cleverly constructed contract in her hand, Gabi accepts Hunter’s proposal and despite the many problems they could face if the marriage falls apart, the pair get married. Hunter is unaware of Gabi’s marital past but soon starts to see the signs of her fragile state of mind as she becomes unravelled at the drop of a hat. Gabi is determined to move on with her life with ex-husband Alonso dead and buried but her emotional wellbeing is still being affected by the demons he firmly placed inside her mind.
With active off-shore accounts needing to be investigated and an insurance policy which appears to have been fraudulently claimed following Alonso’s death, poor Gabi’s problems seen to be spiralling out of control once again.
Despite the terms of their marriage, both Hunter and Gabi quickly come to realise that they may have misjudged each other and they soon start to enjoy one another’s company. With time they become intimately involved and knowing that this could further complicate their agreement, they start to open up to one another about what was really behind their reasons to marry.
With Hunter’s private investigator unearthing more problems than Hunter and Gabi could ever imagine, their problems quickly come to a head as the drug lord that Alonso Picano worked for comes to reclaim his money. As expected, Gabi’s friends and their husbands quickly come to her aid but soon realise that they are dealing with a very serious threat to Gabi’s life.
This was once again an extremely well-written and well thought out suspenseful storyline. I will miss each and every character from this series and I am sure that I will dip back into these books in the future. The audiobooks were particularly enjoyable and a particular highlight for me. Tanya Eby did an amazing job of narrating this series and brought the characters to life perfectly.
Catherine Bybee is definitely my 2019 author find of the year.

Audio Book on Android sounds drunk!
What disappointed you about Treasured by Thursday?
The story itself is great. I have read all of Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series. However, the audio book sounds awful! The sample on the website sounds fine, but when I try to listen to it on my phone, the narrator sounds absolutely wasted! It's impossible to understand and it's read so slow that I can't even be bothered to try to listen to it!
What did you like best about this story?
I love all of Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series!
Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Tanya Eby?
Someone who doesn't sound drunk! I don't understand what is going on.

Satisfying romance with a good background plot
I have read (or listened to) most of this series but did not read the previous book to this one where the h was first introduced. This did not matter too much as what happened to her was well explained and this book can be read as a stand alone. It does feature many of the characters in the previous books but their relevance is easy to follow.
Following the “fake marriage” theme of the series, this is about the h, still recovering from the abuse and criminal activities of her late husband, who is blackmailed into marriage by H who needs a wife to support his child custody battle – for a child that is not his! Don’t worry, it does make sense eventually.
The H is, naturally, obscenely wealthy and powerful, and used to getting what he wants, but although the monetary figures bandied around did make my head spin a bit, what makes this book really good is his slow and fairly reluctant journey into realising that he is actually head over heels in love. He actually falls in love with the h pretty quickly, but does not recognise the symptoms, or know what to do with them. What is really enjoyable in this book is his sheer bafflement at how the h has worked her way into being such an important part of his life, and his bemusement at how she has changed his outlook on life without him being consciously able to resist. There is some great witty banter between them, and the h is by no means intimidated or dominated by the power or wealth of the H.
There is well written plot revolving around the h’s dead husband and his drug money laundering involving accounts in her name, running alongside the story of the H’s twin brother trying to blackmail him with a paternity suit. Both stories come together for a great plot climax and it was good to see that being a successful and wealthy businessman did not also make H a superhero, and he sensibly left the covert rescue tactics to the experts! In fact I laughed out loud when he was leaping over a fence on the way to deliver the ransom demand for his wife and the thought crossed his mind that he really needed more time at the gym.
Catherine Bybee has done a great job with this book and credit must also go to the narrator, Tanya Eby, who is excellent, as usual.
