Publisher's Summary

In an instant, millions of people have vanished from Earth. Those left behind scramble to find the cause of this massive disappearance. In their desperation, they fall under the spell of Nicolae Carpathia, a charismatic leader, who vows to bring all religions, governments, and economic systems together. But underneath his promise to unite the world lurks a force of great evil. Can a group of four men and women, who call themselves Tribulation Force, find the strength to topple this wicked foe? As they draw on their shared faith in Christ, the challenge becomes one that could alter the fate of all humankind.

Narrator Richard Ferrone conveys the spiritual and physical conflicts, sweeping you into a world teetering on the brink of destruction.

Left Behind thrilled millions of readers with its apocalyptic visions and fast-paced suspense. Now Tribulation Force joins it in the stunning continuation of a prophetic battle against the enemies of God.

Convicting

I understand that this is technically fiction, however for those of us to do believe in Jesus, this is a powerful motivator to take our faith seriously day today. May God spare us from having to experience his Wrath.

Narrator not as good as Jack.

I love the book, the narrator not so much. Prefer the version with Jack S.

Surely this is not to come

It is hard to believe one individual could actually acquire the power with the speed Nickeli was able to. I surely hope this never happens.
Although it is fiction, it is true to the scriptures and therefore, I find it alarming. However, it is worthy of a good recommendation.
These books should be required reading in school.

2nd time Reading since 9-11

I read this over 10 years for the first time and it made such an impact on how I understand the end times. Today, it seems even more realistic of the times to come. Although, this is a fictional account, the scriptural references encourage me to read the prophecies and be ready.

Love

Performance definitely better this time. Not as many pauses and i didn’t hear the narrator breathing. Love these books.

See What's Coming for Those "Left Behind!"

These authors, and the Audible reader, put me in the seat of those "left behind," and it's not one I ever want to experience first hand. Jesus Christ is the hero behind all the Tribulation Saints. I'm sure glad I'm saved... by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. There is no other way!

Still Needing some Refinement

I like the idea of this series, but here are my major drawbacks:
- The dialogue between people feels forced (Imagine a YouTuber slipping in a sponsor as if it were normal conversation)
- The "romantic" scenes. They just feel like they were made for a conservative audience in the mid-70's at times.
- Buying up all of the communication networks... I can understand a spin like Carpathia was using his influence or mind control or whatever vague powers they are alluding to, but straight up buying them sounds ridiculous. Like billions upon billions, perhaps in the trillions to get them all and in one fail swoop, bang, ACQUIRED.
- I think getting to the practicality of the end times is good, but some of the points are missing the mark.

TRIBULATION FORCE

Tim La Haye is a very gifted writer and his book make for compelling reading - it is very difficult to take a break as you just nwant to know what happens next. I am new to audio listening but it is fantastic especially as my eyes are getting bad. I can listen as I* work which is great!

It gets worse (I'm not talking about Tribulations)

Our heroes are dumb and our villains are even more dumb. Also the romance between Buck and Chloe may be worse than Twilight.

Don't be left behind...

This is the second in a series, so make sure you've read 'Left Behind' first.
The narration is not bad, but the editing is terrible in places - really long pauses in some places, no pauses in other places where there really needs to be one (e.g. a conversation between two characters suddenly becomes a conversation between two other characters with no break at all in between). It doesn't spoil the story, but you really need to concentrate...
I recommend this series for the truth hidden within the fiction.
