Publisher's Summary

Away games, back seats, and the locker room after hours.... Get ready!

Clay:

Marymount girls are good girls. We're chaste, we're untouched, and even if we weren't, no one would know, because we keep our mouths shut.

Not that I have anything to share anyway. I never let guys go too far. I'm behaved.

Beautiful, smart, talented, popular, my skirt's always pressed, and I never have a hair out of place. I own the hallways, walking tall on Monday and dropping to my knees like the good Catholic girl I am on Sunday.

That's me. Always in control.

Or so they think. The truth is that it's easy for me to resist them, because what I truly want, they can never be. Something soft and smooth. Someone dangerous and wild.

Unfortunately, what I want I have to hide. In the locker room after hours. In the bathroom stall between classes. In the showers after practice. My head swimming. My hand up her skirt.

For me, life is a web of secrets. No one can find out mine.

Olivia:

I cross the tracks every day for one reason - to graduate from this school and get into the Ivy League. I'm not ashamed of where I come from, my family, or how everyone at Marymount thinks my skirts are too short and my lipstick is too red.

Clay Collins and her friends have always turned up their noses at me. The witch with her beautiful skin, clean shoes, and rich parents who torments me daily and thinks I won't fight back.

At least not until I get her alone and find out she's hiding so much more than just what's underneath those pretty clothes.

The princess thinks I'll scratch her itch. She thinks she's still pure as long as it's not a guy touching her.

I told her to stay on her side of town. I told her not to cross the tracks.

But one night, she did. And when I'm done with her, she'll never be pure again.

My First FF Read

This was my first FF read and I was not disappointed! Whenever I looked for a FF books, I kept seeing and receiving recommendations for Tryst Six Venom. This was also the first book I’ve read by Penelope, and I’m a fan!

I love Olivia and Clay and their enemies to lovers story. Clay is such an awful person at the beginning, scared to accept who she is and what she wants, and unfortunate, this happens to a lot of people. But Olivia helps her past all that and shows her there’s more to the world then what she’s used to. There’s roadblocks and major issues along the way, but it works out in the end. The epilogue was perfection and everything I hoped it would be. I love Olivia’s family, and her protective they are of each other.

I need more FF books like this in my life….Penelope, I’m looking at you. Tryst Six has been one of my favorite reads of 2021! I hope to see this group of characters again in future books, fingers crossed. Thank you Penelope, for this amazing book and these characters! And thank you to Desireé Ketchum, Valentina Ortiz for bringing these characters to life through this audiobook!!

My top F/F novel.

Genius all around. The dual narrator's took me a little while to get into but once I did I have no complaints. Hands down the best enemies to lovers lesfic available.
If you can't handle bullying or tremendously well written sex scenes then...get over it and listen anyway. It's that good.

Penelope Douglas can write a Bully Romance

This book is so good, I will probably listen to it again and again. I'm surprised at my self because I would think Oliva would be my favorite since Clay is the bully but, I loved Clay even in her meanness I was rooting for her. I'm glad she got out if her way and went out for what she wanted. Really loved the side characters Oliva's brothers and Kristen are my favs.

Tryst Six Venom

I was a little on the fence on how I felt about this book through the first half. The second half blew my mind. I fell in love with Clay and Liv. This was the first FF book I have read. Let me tell you it ...is...HOT! This is a high school enemies-to-lovers. Clay is the HBIC of their high school. Olivia is the scholarship student from the other side of the tracks. One is in the closet about her true feelings about the other. I love how Penelope Douglas writes such unique characters and stories. Valentina Ortiz and Desireé Ketchum did fantastic job narrating this book.

Excellent listen! 5 Stars

It’s been a long 5 month wait for the audiobook! But I’m so happy it finally came out today. Penelope more than delivered with her first FF Romance. The heat between Clay & Liv was so hot & intense from the get go. Well done! Desiree Ketchum & Valentina Ortiz were the prefect narrators for this book. Loved them!

Great story but Horrible narrator!

Wow! I loved the story. It was intense, Thrilling, and A must-read! I enjoyed it so much!

The narration was horrible, especially Olivia’s narrator!
Clay’s narrator was okay, but Olivia’s narrator sounded so stiff and bored! No emotion!!

I only managed to finish the audiobook only because of the story! Penelope Douglas is fantastic!!!! 🥰

Wow. WOOOOOW!

Tryst Six Venom

I had never heard of this book or the author but when I read the reviews I just had to give it a chance. Recently I’ve found many offerings in F/F romance to be unfortunately boring, most of them more of the same. I can promise you THIS book veers off the beaten path. It’s so good! I can easily see it being turned into a very entertaining movie. It’s edgy, even a bit nihilistic at times. I was basically the equivalent of that Michael-Jackson-gleefully-eating-popcorn gif the whole time as I watched these people and their addictive tomfoolery unfold.

From page one Liv was easy to love, but at first I really could not see how I could ever like Clay. Even halfway through the book I was doubtful that the author was going to make her redeemable to me, even if she was fascinating. But in the end her character arc was so well done that I liked her a lot, warts and all.

The relationship between Liv and Clay was straight-up toxic at first, I’ll be honest. But the way it develops and the love they have for each other is…well, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a love story like theirs, I’ll say that. And I mean that in the best way.

The secondary characters are all VERY well done and complicated in their own ways as well, which was a textured and unexpected delight. The issues of classism (with a hint of racism) that permeated every interaction between them were also unexpected, but not unwelcome. It was all handled with a deft hand.

This one will be a re-listen for sure, and this author has a new fan. The narration was great too. Outstanding audiobook all around!

Great Book

Helped me work through and let out some frustrations. Great writing. The character development was vast and seemless. Recommend!

This is an Enemies to Lovers book!

I love enemies to lovers book. And when I tell you this is the epitome of enemies to lovers. The two main character truly hate each other. But there always an underlying love there I love this book. Too anyone looking for a smutty high-school enemies to lover book this is it. But a word of warning they do get quite rough.

A beautiful tale

I was sceptical when getting this audiobook, but I was hooked from the first chapter.

Really connected with the characters, feeling the rivalry between them and seeing the emotional dependency that makes them so endearing. Though I think the voice work, especially for Olivia’s chapters, could’ve been better but I didn’t mind that and it doesn’t detract from the story.

Can honestly say that I don’t think I have hated a fictional character more than Callum.

What was I nervous for?

I did take a long time to finish this (almost two weeks) but it wasn't because I didn't like it. I just got sick and couldn't focus on an audiobook for any length of time. Now I've finished it I'm kinda kicking myself for waiting as long as I did to read it. It was everything I hope for when I pick up a book by Penelope Douglas; dark, gritty, morally messed up in more than one place, but add all of that that it's sapphic?? Yes. It wasn't soft any where and I feel like while this might never be my favourite PDoug book, I would recommend it. The audio is extra good too.

Wow!

What a tangled web Penelope weaves. She then takes you on an intriguing journey where you are think you know what’s going on, and then….
Definitely recommend listening to this. The narrators were both outstanding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
