Publisher's Summary

Discover the addictive world of the Twisted series from TikTok sensation, Ana Huang!

He'll do anything to have her...including lie.

Charming, deadly and smart enough to hide it, Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman.

He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can't deny the strange pull he feels towards the woman living just one floor below him.

She's the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can't solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can't refuse.

Every monster has their weakness. She's his.

His obsession. His addiction. His only exception.

***

Sweet, shy and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage.

Between her two jobs, she has little time or desire for a relationship. But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms—and house—of the most dangerous man she's ever met, she's tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time.

Because despite Christian's cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she's with him.

Passionate. Protected. Truly wanted.

Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies...and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.

Twisted Lies is a steamy fake dating romance. It's the fourth and final book in the Twisted series but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Warning: The story contains explicit content, violence, profanity, and topics that may be sensitive to some listeners.

Why is the female narrator so Winey?!

This story is very cliche and would be entertaining enough but honestly the female narrator absolutely makes Stella sound more stupid than she actually is! Ughhhh had gotten so many recs on this book and so thoroughly disappointed!

I love it but….

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed reading the last book of the twisted series. I loved them all. But, this book was VERY similar to the 50 shades of grey storyline. Obviously there were differences, but a lot seemed too similar.

I wish it wasn’t over. So good !

I have a series hangover and I’m not sure what to read next. I have loved each book in the series. I feel like I’m saying goodbye to my book friends. I’ll definitely be reading more of this author.

All bark and no bite

I pre-ordered this book! I was excited to hear Stella’s story and the let down felt like I was dropped from the building… it was all braggadocios…

Stella was a typical protagonist I’ve come to expect, dumb, self serving without an ounce of self preservation and expected waaaay too much from Christian who wasn’t any better… how was he a millionaire? It would have made sense IF his dad left him the money.

Oh, if it’s not the typical I am with a “millionaire” who helped with almost everything but oh I want to do this myself… 🙄 she wasn’t a good friend but quintessential I get by on my looks… yawn…

I literally paused listened to 2 different books and had to come back to finish… I finished an M/M book where I wondered why the protagonists are so much better? Why can’t women be like one of the men in M/M? And I got infuriated because women are made to be this dumb! UGH!

I wish I skipped it… Book 3 was the only decent book in these series…I’m just upset I kept giving it a chance from the popularity of it ugh!

Know yourself.

A lot of people recommended this series to me and I hated it. I only made it 10 chapters into book 1 because the male main character is the very epitome of toxic masculinity. So everyone told me just skip ahead and read the 4th one because the male main character is great, you'll love it! So with a lot of trepidation I got this book and the very first thing you hear at the beginning is the author saying "this book features a morally ambiguous alpha male main character" from that moment I knew I probably wasn't going to like it but everyone insisted it was great so I forced myself all the way to chapter 30 and can easily say, the character isn't "morally ambiguous", hes someone who needs therapy and probably anti-psychotics. He isn't an "alpha male", he is what teenage girls think is alpha but is actually toxic.
The reason I started off by saying know yourself is because I was in an abusive relationship for many years so this type of toxic male really isn't for me. I'm sure that some can read it without thinking about what this character would be like as an actual person but i cant. I cant stop thinking that after the end of the book, when he isnt acting so mysterious to try to win her, he for sure is going to treat Stella horribly.

I Paid For This Trashy Story, Ugh

I read the reviews and I decided to enjoy a new author.
This book Twisted Lies is not the suspense story I was seeking.
The novel is full of repetitive sexually explicated acts over and over; enough already.
Rich man meets hot nice model.
I am guilty of listening to the end of the story and then I am upset with myself for filling my time with Jerry Springer material.
The narrators have pleasant voices.

Favorite book next to Twisted Love of the series

Out of the twisted series, I definitely liked this one as number one next to twisted love.
The plot was okay. Nothing too much. I loved the twist in the end with the stalker which made it extra good. The fact that we saw the characters from the other books was nice because they still exist and knowing that was really nice.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!

I loved every word, every line, every page !!!!
I haven’t read the book but this audio version !!! Omgggggg !!
For me, the beauty of a book starts from the voices reading the book and the voice cover for Christian…. (#swoons)

Engaging Listen

This is not my usual choice of book, but I am so glad I took a chance and used a credit! Cindy Kay (who is a new narrator to me) and Aiden Snow were perfect in their delivery of this story.
The story kept me interested and on the edge of my seat from start to finish and I am now suffering a serious book hangover!
I have now added Ms Huang to my list of authors to follow.
